I can't respond to each and every word you are saying here, it's just too scattered. Going overboard on some big rant based on (IMHO) some VERY minor observations.....is silly. I'll just leave it at that...except one thing:
"If indeed he is "suspect" at this why is the offense scoring 40 points a game? Pure dumb luck?"
There are MANY reasons for that. Dak being good is just one of them.
By the way.... "suspect" doesn't mean he sucks at it. People are so freagin sensitive jeeseus.
And in what context does it mean he's good at it? I stand by my assertion. The Cowboys offensive braintrust has made a decision that they want Dak to be more aggressive. Take more chances, anticipate, trust his receivers all that good stuff. The result have largely been spectacularly successful. But more aggressive comes with risk. To quote Bruce Arians "No risk it no biscuit!" Again I don't like seeing Dak throw more interceptions.. I much prefer the conservative version of Dak to this version.. But I can't argue with 40 ppg. The more aggressive approach is in preparation for higher leveraged games and situations when the running game might not be there or when the defense is not holding up. We can't have Dak out there playing like Cooper Rush all season and then ask him to convert to a different QB when we need him. We have to let him morph into that guy over time. Which means we gotta let him grow into it so as to be fully ready to be that guy when it matters most. I'll take the growing pains now if it means he can hang 40 on a playoff defense and we win a playoff game 41-38.
