I agree, but what bigger outside guy do we have worth developing? Street is likely already a roster lock, and is not in competition with Whitehead. AJ Jenkins is a camp body and will be gone soon enough. They obviously like Farmer, but I think he has very little chance of contributing even if an outside WR goes down, and I don't really know enough about Greenberry to comment. Everyone else is under 6 feet.

It's just a general comment. I have not studied any of the other WRs. I know that Farmer got the most money to sign as a UDFA. There has been some occasional flashes from Greenberry and Goodley according to reports. Jenkins would be a one time high draft pick reclamation project which the Cowboys seem to like.

Farmer, George 6-1 220
Goodley, Antwan 5-10 220
Greenberry, Deontay 6-2 200
Jenkins, A.J. 6-1 200

Whitehead, Lucky 5-9 163

Whitehead and Ken Bishop right now, but I want to see some more players in games before I 100% pick one.

My man Ken Bishop wins the starting job this season.

That would be awesome!

I honestly think he would have been better than Hayden if they started him last year. Obviously he would have made some mistakes but that would have been offset by his superior ability to hold the point while still being quicker than Hayden.

I'm intrigued by reggie dunn. He's tiny but has world class speed. It's been a while since we last had a home run threat returning ko's. Thing is, I dunno how he is as a punt returner (which would help out his cause greatly).

As a receiver, the reports I've read indicates he hasn't been embarrassing himself (even looking pretty good in 1 on 1 drills).

Offense- Gus Johnson, Lucky, Swaim

Defense- my man efe. He has no chance at all in making the 53 but his story is too good not to root for

maybe not in the spirit of the OP's intent but 2nd year running, mine is Rolando. He did enough last year to get a paid invite back - a Sunday afternoon cheers with you'all on him meeting/exceeding his full potential and making an impact this year that leads to a multi-year deal next off-season. Not off to a good start but him working out could help this team now/future in a big way.....

I am intrigued by Swaim who I see making the roster. Also lets see if Davon Coleman can get it together and become a rotational pass rusher.

I'm rooting for efe too. If the 4.67 40 is legit, I kinda would like to see what he can do at TE.

He's just way to raw for a much more complicated position with all the checks and responsibilities.

Davon Coleman and Ken Bishop are my long shots I want to make the roster as reserve DL.

The light may have come on for Coleman going by reports and I like what I've seen from both in the training camp live segments on dallascowboys.com.

On offense, I hope Darrion Weems continues making strides and settles in as the swing tackle.

We may need him before the season is through unless Doug Free can put his recent injury concerns to bed.

He's young enough to learn (only 22), but the real question none of us has answers to is how are his hands.

He was a good KR in college but I don't think he was the primary PR.

Several reports say he is catching the ball really well.

There's a lot of competition among the bottom WRs.

We should see a couple land on the practice squad following final cuts.

Steeples, CB. He won't make the team. But he has great measurables. Hopefully practice squad
