Roll over, eat crap, and die...not clear enough. Your lips are quivering again.

Something important here...do you walk your pet? Or are you too proud to have one?

Who has offered you a job reporting sports?
The truth hurts. You're delusional.

Kenny Clark is no longer a stud DT. Do you truly believe that, cuz if you do you don't watch or follow the league.
Not true. I live in Wisconsin and have been watching him since he first came in the league. The guy played all season on a bad big toe that needed surgery because that's WHO HE IS,...he doesn't miss games. The Packer info this spring had him looking like the same guy he always was and they were excited to have him back to form . He is very very good. He is a PERFECT fit here. A real pro's pro. Country strong to hold the point but has great hands and some agility to rush the passer. As an added bonus,....he is REALLY going to help unlock Osa. I look for Osa to easily have his best year now.

Mark my words.......by mid season if not earlier Cowboys fans are going to LOVE this trade. Not only will we be a much better team for it ON THE FIELD , we will also end up with the 2 extra 1sts AND a lot more cap space going forward.

Show me one ranking of DTs that has him in the top 20 in the league.

His best days are behind him.

We traded a difference maker ENTERING his prime, for 2 late first rounders and a guy who is on the downside of his career.

It is what it is. A Jerry special.

You put a lot more effort into your posts than anyone else, and yet you topics end up getting less traction than other “hot take” 2-liners. Some here still appreciate it
Effort does not equal quality, that's why. It doesn't help when the OP is confrontational, does not take well to criticism, answers with cryptic nonsense far too often, and doesn't show any in-depth knowledge of the game. He is one of the two people I prefer to not engage on this board, and seeing as I'm a very easy going person, that says something.

Geezzz, man.
Woke up on the wrong side of your bed?

We had 52 sacks last year, 3rd in the league...WITH Parsons, even though he missed some games. Parsons had 12 of those sacks. How was our defense? LOL. O.k,....take away 12 of those sacks with the loss of Parsons,...that brings us down to 40. Now,....lets add in an additional 4 sacks from Clark,...were at 44. Oh,....but what about Fowler,...our new Right end? Let's say he only gets 9 sacks,...now were up to 53 sacks. Now lets talk about what Williams can do in comparison to what Gholston did,...EZ, Kneeland, Houston..... You see where Im going with this....

Our pass rush is going to be very good. But our run defense will be VASTLY improved over what it was last year.

I've heard of Diggs...
Others, I've never heard of.....
:huh::muttley::huh:
Watch more games.

Elam was a former first round signed this year.
Sanborn and Murray are strong linebackers also signed this summer.
Bland is known for turnovers and coming back from injury.
DT Osa was Pro Bowl.
DT Clark is a 3 time Pro Bowler
S Wilson and Hooker have been with Dallas for a good time and are very solid.
DE Fowler had 10.5 sacks and was resigned to Dallas.

The DE group just need time on the field.

The DT group is actually solid.
The backups for them are Thompson and Smith.

Much of the new players worked with the coaches at other teams and are already familiar.

There are specialty talents that can create opportunities during a game.

This team will create game changers, be aggressive, and tough.

He was VERY good basically his entire career until last season where he played on a broken toe. I'm sorry but you are wrong on this. He will be huge for us. This season will prove who is right or wrong,....I am MORE than happy to let the season speak for itself.

Yes, sir.
I'll try to do better.

Ok then let's do that.

Total delusion. Unreal.

Just 2 points:

-Elam couldn't find the field for Buffalo and was beaten out by undrafted players for playing time
-Tennesee no longer wanted Murray and are eating some of his salary to play for another team

Trade for a run-stopping edge defender

The Cowboys had one of the worst run defenses in the league last season, and it might be even worse after this trade. They gave up 4.8 yards per carry in 2024, which ranked among the five worst teams in the NFL.

Now, Kneeland and Dante Fowler Jr. are set to start on the edge. You can't rely on either of those players to be a force against the run. Osa Odighizuwa and Kenny Clark form a nice duo on the inside, but neither of them is a run stuffer.

This run defense could get ugly if Dallas doesn't bring someone else in. A trade for Arizona Cardinals edge Zaven Collins could make sense, as Collins recently lost his starting spot. While he isn't a dominant pass rusher, Collins posted an impressive PFF run defense grade of 84.3 last season. He could be available for a late-round pick.

What could be an aide for development of this group of young and inexperienced group at defensive end.

They just removed their two worst run defenders in Mazi and Parsons, now their run defense will be worse?

Yes, sir.
I'll try to do better.

You lose humor...do I have to apologize now having one through the work to bring you up to speed?

Hell of a football discussion you have going there. Like the Cowboys?

You are insulting now with Sir ... oh, :muttley:

Guy is a total clown that buys everything Jerry says.

At my age I'm happy to have awakened.

This was my post to yourself:

You trying to say something? Try football. Or discuss the team perhaps,
