Not looking good for him and the Cards. Really tough break for a team playing so well if so.

BUT... it could have huge playoff implications for the NFC.

Looks like the DB pulled Palmer's shoulder while his back leg was planted in the ground, which could easily cause enough torque on the ACL to tear it.
