Drew Stanton is a career 53% completion QB. He is a not an NFL starter and he is not better than Palmer.

And Stanton was completing only 48.9% of his passes this season prior to entering today's game.

Yeah I'm not sure how anyone thinks Stanton is better than Palmer. I'm not the biggest Palmer fan but there is no way Stanton is better.

They are good enough with stanton to beat any team. As they have done earlier this year.

Sucks for him but this guy is lucky. In Cincinnati he signed his big deal 8 days before he blew his knee out the first time. This time he signed his 50 mil deal just a few days ago. So in both cases if the team would have just waited a week he might not have gotten those deals.

I mean what great timing to sign a huge deal. He injures his knee one week earlier there is no deal and probably no way he ever gets one. Just phenomenal luck there.

I saw it that really sucks if its serious. But stenton is really good and they will still be a force if hes done.

Josh brown was the back up , he didn't do much ,but two defensive TDs helped cardinals come through, of course if Palmer is going to be out , it helps Seattle who won today.. I would hate Seattle gets a home game ..

I remember Palmer's injury from 2006 as it was a complete failure of the joint. Torn ACL, MCL, tissue damage was extensive.

Not really. I mean they can win some games but winning with Drew Stanton in the playoffs isn't going to get it done. Eventually when you lose your starting QB it's going to catch up with you. The Cards have had a lot of things go their way so far this season so they aren't just good enough to win with Stanton at QB.

I understand Stanton is a really solid backup, but you guys are kidding yourselves if you think he's better than Palmer or that this doesn't really affect their team going forward..

He did? I thought he was still on his rookie deal. He was drafted in 2003 and his injury occurred in the playoffs following the 2005 season.
