4. Tom Coughlin, New York Giants -- His past two years haven't been good, but he has the two Super Bowl rings and has a 12-7 playoff record and seven 10-win seasons. He has five division titles, two with Jacksonville and three with the Giants. He faces a big challenge this season coming off a 6-10 record, his worst since 2004.

12. Chip Kelly, Philadelphia Eagles -- I know he as won 20 games the past two seasons, but he hasn't won a playoff game, which holds him down here. I know most would put him in the top 10. He's just outside it for me. But with all the power he has in the building now, he can help change that. This is a big season for him with the recent roster turnover. He is innovative and creative, which you have to respect. At least he does it his way.

18. Jason Garrett, Dallas Cowboys -- In 72 games, Garrett is 41-31 and has not had a losing season. He is coming off an impressive 12-4 season with a division title and a playoff victory, his first.

29. Jay Gruden, Washington Commanders -- He is fighting an uphill battle coaching the Commanders with a quarterback situation that isn't good and a roster that doesn't have a ton of talent. He was 4-12 in his first season. I think he will be better in his next job.

I am willing to wager that you will see Chip Kelly move down the list and Jason Garrett rise up the list proportionately over the next two years.

Garrett should be ranked higher than Chip. But Garrett has only done it 1 year. If he keeps winning consistently (and I think he will), he will move up in time.

It's feast or famine for Kelly. He will either be a genius or a laughing stock. We will find out in the next year or 2.

Garrett hasn't traded Nick Foles for Sam Bradford, and then traded even more in terms of picks. Chip Kelly is a Madden player, plain and simple.

He's better than Chip Kelly I know that.

Agree. I would give Garrett second best coach in our division but if he keeps on winning, I would put him at the top spot. Maybe be bias but that is my opinion.

Note to Mr. Prisco: Just because you hear more voices inside your head than outside it does not mean "most" think that.

I'm okay with Garrett is on the list. It's an improvement which he showed. He has to do it again to get to the upper echelon.

Chip Kelly? Child, please.

Tom Coughlin is like an aging pro bowler. Still got some juice, but made it to the list based on prior year success, but not actual results.

Thats middle of the pack and thats a good improvement for Jason. Hard to argue for a better spot for him.

fine with Garrett around where he is, but Petey Prisco way overrates the so called "genius" Chip Kelly like the rest of the media. Have never seen a lovefest like this, for a coach who has won absolutely nothing.
