I like Garrett but I think the big test for him is this coming season. Getting this team to 12-4 last season and losing some key players during the off season will present a real challenge for Jason to produce a top contending team this year.

Chip did not have to hire someone to tell Chip what to do. The Cowboys had to hire a guy, tel be anti Garrett, to stick to the run. Remember, Demarco isnt a rookie but flourished under Linehans calling. Stick to teh run and it bailed us out. Abandon the run, like what Garrett would do, and we have 8-8 all over again. So, for that mere fact, yes, Chip didnt need to hire another person to tell Chip how to run his offense.
