Drew is on pace for over 50K yards and nearly 300 TD's......that's just a tad more than 'half way decent' so sorry to burst your bubble....

Also he already has a winning record in the playoffs and has two superbowl appearances and a ring as a contributor.

Drew is canton bound and I can't wait to go to his enshinement sometime next decade...I really hope he puts the icing on the cake with a world title in dallas and is immortalized as a cowboy!:starspin

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Keep dreaming.

He's already well on his way there, do you realize that last week he passed for career TD #250 and #251?

But instead of celebrating this great milestone, we choose to bash him?

Uh...Vinny Testaverde has over 45,000 yards and 250 TDs as well. Do you think he is a HOFer as well?

You have some serious blinders on when it comes to Drew. He has not even been a consisent top 10 QB since he came into the league, much less considered best or even second best for that matter.

But he is going to be awarded with a trip to Canton?

No Testeverde isn't going to Canton and Why do people keep comparing him to Bledsoe? Yes he has 45K and 250 TD's but it took him what 20 years and into his 40's to accomplish that? Bledsoe on the other hand has reached this milestone at 34 years old and probably has at least 2 seasons left in him to continue to rack up the numbers and hopefully world titles.

To those who believe that Bledsoe gives us our best opportunity to win now I ask you when would you look in another direction, Romo or otherwise?

The youth on this teams defense and many offensive spots (excluding TO, Glenn, Rivera and maybe Flozell) gives us hope of being competitive for the foreseeable future. When would you be willing to suffer the growing pains of a young QB. As I understand it, that is the primary reason some wish to not play Romo now. Romo is in his 4th year so he's probably not gonna get significantly better by continuing to watch and many folks discount preseason as experience of significant value.

Where does this cycle end?

btw - I'm not adamant about playing Romo now. But I'd sure be willing to entertain it.

Bledsoe is not the person he was years ago. After 14 years in the league he has lost a step and what used to be feet are now concrete cinder blocks. He has done nothing over to prove he will not continue to dwell in inconsistency. The Giants are coming to town and they will mimic exactly what the Eagles did. If Drew does not somehow figure out how to step up to the plate during the big games mediocrity will be over the horizon yet again... I won't be holding my breath on that.

Lets not forget his vaunted winning record in the playoffs is 4-3, his completion percentage in the playoffs is 51%, to go along with 6 TD's and 12 INT's he has only made the Pro Bowl 4 times.

Face it, the only way Bledsoe goes to Canton is if he wants to see what a real QB looked like in his prime.

How many QB's do you know that have a winning record in the postseason? I'll give you a hint....anybody that does has been to a superbowl or won it all. Even the great Peyton Manning has a pathetic postseason record compared to Bledsoe.

4-3 is nothing special. It is the same thing of you arguing Bledsoe's 8-7 record in his last 15 is somehow impressive.

What about those playoff stats? Ouch.

Totally false....Bledsoe has improved his game and aged like a bottle of fine Italian wine.....did you not see him move out of the pocket and scramble for that TD in philly?

The Steelers won a superbowl last year when Big Ben had a 22 QB rating.....

Am I to then assume he's now a mobile QB that suddenly has regained pocket awareness due to one play in which you or I could have ran it in?

And this is relevant in what way? You dont see me putting Roethlisberger in the HOF with his crappy numbers.

Hey genius...did you watch the Bears game last night? Grossman had SIX TURNOVERS against a defense that's not even close to the calibur of Jacksonville or philly.

ALL QB's HAVE BAD GAMES.....sorry you are just now learning this.

Is he buying a ticket to visit the hall?

He must be buying a vistor's pass. That's the only way he's getting there.

Big difference between a guy in his first real year starting, and a guy that has been starting 14 years.

Bledsoe said it best himself in a quote a few years ago: "When one of these running QB's wins a championship, it will be more valid". This was in response to the 'statue' criticism and how mobile QB's are the wave of the future.

And to answer your question now he's not a mobile QB, but he is faster than a lot of people think and I've definitely he has fined tuned his play in the pocket like any great player.

Yes against two good teams in their home stadiums....look no team is going to go 16-0 and I'm sorry to break it to a lot of you guys that must have thought Bledsoe and our offense was going to be THAT good.

We are 3-2 and our offense is continuing to evolve every week, I have confidence that big things are in store for the entire offense in the coming weeks. Don't sell Bledsoe short, he's going to be money down the stretch and I look for him to make a statement against the giants this week.

It's relevant because QB's don't always singlehanded win or lose games, THE TEAM does......just take a look at the Bears last night for a perfect example of this.

If that was Bledsoe and the cowboys against the Bears, he would have been lynched and burned at the stake....win or lose.
