Pro Bowl before the SB?

Its a game that is not relevant. Players don't want to play. No one not in Vegas really cares and it is a cringefest fraught with potential injuries to star players in a meaningless game. And a game that is mailed in anyways by players.

It just doesn't work in this sport.

The best idea I've heard regarding the Pro Bowl is using it to replace the HOF game even if it means moving the HOF game up a week so it's before the start of training camp.

Most players may not be excited to spend a week in July in the Cleveland area compared to February in Hawaii but I'd bet the participation would be even better knowing that HOF voters would watch the game with the Hall on their mind ( if they have a mind, which I doubt in most cases).

Thats the closest thing I could think of in relation to baseball where winner determines home field advantage
