Pro Bowl voting news

i think there is another way for tony to get in. thats if mcnabb gets voted in and the coach has to replace him

Injury replacements go to the alternates. So if McNabb can't go, the fourth-place quarterback would go. If someone else can't, the fifth-place quarterback would.

Romo's best chance is to get as high as possible in the fan voting and hope that the players and coaches put him in the top two. And even then, he might need an injury to another quarterback or two.

Some strange voting there.

Pace is already done for the year and Walter Jones is in 5th place?

The voting went on for a while before Pace was put on IR, and still got votes after that. It's the same with McNabb, who still leads all NFC quarterbacks.

Do you know where Rex Grossman stands in QB votes? I have a nice sized bet with me saying he would not make the Pro Bowl this season.

Grossman is third in the voting right now, way behind McNabb and Brees. Bulger is fourth, and Manning is fifth.

Not sure if some of the link requests are in jest, but Adam is the source here, fellas. No link necessary.

Yeah, a link to the results would be helpful.

There's no link. There might be a link to the leaders later today, but the results that I have aren't released to the public.

Asking Adam for a link is like asking a magician how he does his "tricks".

thats not the point. i wanted to see how the other guys do. are there any rookies? what about the AFC? etc.
this crap is pretty pointless though. they want us to vote but at the same time they wont let us see the results.

if adam says it will rain next tuesday. i have my umbrella ready!!!!

ADAM! You are a good like creature. I'm not sure how specific your info is,
But I have to ask.
Do you have vote totals?
If so what are they for the top 4 QB's.
Are we talkin hundreds of thousands or millions of votes.
Is thier no hope for Tony to get into the top 3 by Dec 12?

McNabb leads with a little more than 469,000 votes. Eli Manning is fifth with a little more than 243,000.

Jason Witten is fifth? I guess that's what he gets for keeping his mouth shut and being a good team player..... how dare he not call the opposing coach a homo.

Adam... the one thing I'm most interested in is the CB voting. If you could, keep us updated on Terrence Newman's status.

If he doesn't make the Pro Bowl then that's a flat out robbery!

I guess someone could also post the link to the results when they make them public like you mentioned.

He is not going to make the pro bowl. May as well not get your hopes us.

This is great news! I had no idea the gross vote totals were so low.
I saw we had over 1000 people on this site a few weeks ago.
If the board could keep up and perhaps even step up the get the vote effort,
Maybe we could spike Romo's votes by a hundred thousand or so. MAYBE MORE!
