Anyway, Revis and Ware make it in. After that, I don't really know who goes in.

An enshrinee isn’t asked to declare a team, nor does the Hall of Fame choose a team under which a new member is enshrined. Most will remember Ware as a Cowboy, because he spent most of his career in Dallas. He built his Hall of Fame resume with the Cowboys. I think the way he departed the team left him bitter. He was asked to take a pay cut, which he refused and he was released.

So did Gilligan but I agree Revis is a slam dunk. He was named All Pro four times and only Rod Woodson and Deion Sanders accomplished that and both were first ballot Hall of Famer‘s.

Ware needed to be first ballot last year.
Dwight Freeney is an All-Decade teamer, which is basically a HOF auto-admit.
Ditto with Joe Thomas.
And then I think I'd put in Zach Thomas.

For years Leroy Butler and Darren Woodson were sorta preventing each other from moving forward in the process until Butler made it into the HOF this year. Makes sense now that Butler is in, Woodson has a clearer path.

- Albert Lewis over Lester Hayes ?...- Hayes who was actually NFL Defensive Player of the Year !

- i thought Woody would be shut out of HOF because of less than idea career INTs, and only 5 pro bowls, but maybe overall lack of candidates

Lester should easily be in the HOF. He was even NFL Defensive Player of the Year ... and yet remains shut out.

" Stick 'em" had nothing to do with him being a perennial shutdown coverage CB.

if he was bitter he would not have signed a one day contract to retire with the cowboys.

i don't think that was a serious post. ware retired a cowboy. as the sack leader is a lock for ROH imo
