As stated in my post, all of the data is 2016-Present. The only exception is the last line which eliminates 2016. That only goes to show that the trend is down...sharply.

I was referring to the OP's post. I think that was only 2017 data. May be wrong on that. Do appreciate your digging for data. I have no time for that

QBR currently has Blake Bortles ranked 5th in the NFL, and Aaron Rodgers ranked 13th.

ESPN created QBR. It's crap, too.
No, it's not.

Bortles just lit up NE for 376 yards and 4 TDS passing.
JAX is 2--0 and Bortles has added about 80 yards rushing.
He's been good for a good team.

Rodgers has obviously battled a sprained MCL and had 2 fumbles which humble his QBR but are ignored in passer rating.

ESPN basically bought the system but it is a great analytical tool which was developed by testing it versus 10 years of actual results to have it represent reality not reward guys who throw for 300 yards a week but are always down 2 TDs all day because of mistakes they make early.

Trust me, they pay less attention to stats than you'd think. They use them to point them to which film to study with their EYES. That's it.
You are mistaking stats for actual statistical analysis.

Your eyes are no different than someone elses' feelings. Pointless to discuss really.

But watching is far superior to "box score scouting".
Statistical analysis is a level beyond both and is used to find trends and effect games that haven't even been played yet.
Every NFL team knows every other NFL team's tendencies.

As to Baker and Pat, LOL. Those were lay ups. Baker was a Heisman winner and Pat can throw the ball threw a brick wall.
Both guys tossed for a gazillion yards in college.
Can Baker avoid turnovers? That'll be his challenge longer term but his upside is insane.

How does it go again? There are three types of lies, lies, damn lies, and statistics. Unless you're looking for a trend, statistics can be misleading.

You think your single opinion carries more weight?

Only in your head.

Keep it there.
Lol. That right there sums up over half the members in here. If they would only keep it in their head.

I think the 200 yard criticism is based on it happening repeatedly, and not with very good YPA to go with it.
It is for me! People want to give Dak a fresh season to start out and forget about those last 8 games of last season. It takes an unbiased person to give a true evaluation on Dak. The Dallas Cowboys team has a lot of talent and how do we know that a guy like Philip Rivers wouldnt run the table and win a SB with this team while Dak farts around going 8-8 and 9-7. People will then bring up the Romo comparison to Rivers and say well Romo couldnt do it.
Romo didnt have Zeke or this defense and for many years had a mediocre oline. He also made too many game killing mistakes at the worst times. This team needs an accurate QB with a decent arm that can threaten a defense. Dak doesnt make the game killing mistakes but he only threatens a defense with his legs and thats not good enough.
