The starting lineup looks as good or better than in 2014, IMO.

There is currently less depth, but they can add to that with the draft and from several intriguing developmental types from last season (Bishop, Coleman, Whaley ) and some veteran depth like Dekoda Watson, Keith Rivers and Okoye.

Can Lawrence be better than Mincey? Yes.
Can Brent be better than Hayden? Yes.
Can Mincey move to LDE and be better than Selvie? Definitely Yes.
Can Lee be better than Hitchens/Durant? Definitely Yes.
Can Hitchens be better than Carter/Wilber? He was already starting over Carter at the end of the season.
Can Patmon, a draft pick or low level veteran signing be better than Moore? Probably.

A free agent DE could really have pushed the 2015 lineup way past the 2014 lineup in terms of ability.

It didn't suck last year though? Though I don't want to bring it back lol. But at the same time...realistically how much change could they have done to it? I wanted an edge rusher at the very least.

Any objective fan looks at that projected starting lineup and sees a severe lack of talent.

They have 3 choices. Leave the starters alone and elevate Jasper Brinkley or move either Hitchens/Lee to the middle. If Lee then they move Hitchens to WLB. FYI, Brinkley has 33 starts.

Looks right but I expect claiborne to start over patmon.

I expect him to start the season on the PUP list. A blown Patella is worse than an ACL in terms of recovery.

Hitchen at MLB if RoMc does not return.

The SLB is only on the field in the base which is less than 50% of the time. If Lee/HItchens are WLB/MLB any number of guys can play SLB. Keith Rivers, Dekoda Watson, Wilber, draft pick, etc..

They could also use Brinkley at MLB in the base with Hitchens and Lee in the Nickel and Hitchens at SLB in the base.
