In all fairness, I have wanted Armstrong to show something over the last fe seasons. I have been pulling for him after reading about his potential, but he has not shown up and I was surprised that was not cut this year. The only highlights from these seasons came last Sunday and I have a feeling that the Atlanta game will be the highlight of his career. There has to be a better backup with some untapped potential out there somewhere.

I mean, he made a couple of plays Sunday. One on special teams though. I guess see if he's finally going to be productive but his career to this point has been terrible.

Sorry, I can't take this serious. I have no desire to debate things this silly. "A little better than average." Lol.
Since he got paid, a little better than average is stretching it. Between the injuries and lack of production on the field, he has not been that good , unless a run stopping DE has become really valuable. He is not as good as Spencer when he was criticized for being not much more than a glorified run stopper.

Agree to disagree.

I don't get the Armstrong hate - he was a 4th rounder. He has proven to be really good on special teams and as a 4th DE on the depth chart over his career, I'm not sure why people are expecting great production in the limited snaps he's gotten. Look at some of the DEs drafted before him in the 2018 Draft - some of them have equal production to him or even worse and a few are not in the league anymore. For a 4th rounder, they got their money's worth.

Not everyone is a star in the NFL. You need good role players...and not everyone is great at special teams either (see Bradlee Anae)

You need to stop using logic and common sense. For some on here that doesn’t fly.

He stepped up big in this game. Deserved the gameball with how he played. Best game I remember him having.
