The REAL deal. I must've watched that play where he tossed Mathis aside to gain 10 more yards 10 times. He plays like the defense stole something from him. I was warming up to him before the season, after REALLY not wanting him here before.

After yesterday, I am a full on fan. Call it knee-jerk, but if we had 22 TO's, the will to win would absolutely overwhelm our oponents. He never gives up. Frankly, today, when so much is wrong, I'm in love. He was an enormous bright spot for us yesterday. That TD catch was unbelievable. Some WRs are faster. Some have better hands. None of them burn like he does, though.

Look out league.

He's the best WR in the game today period. On the field he's unmatched by his peers

IOW, it was one loss... but I saw fifteen games (maybe more) where TO is going to be a force to be reckoned with. He's going to make the offense so much better than it would've been without him. Just think what the Commanders will think when they watch the Jax film and see TO.

I can't wait to see how they attempt to cover him. They have no Rashean Mathis, with Springs out. And if Williams magically figures something out for TO, go ahead and leave Kenny Wright and Mike Rumph on Glenn. I dare you.

Good Lord, TO looked strong. He's a nightmare to bring down. I don't think Dallas has ever had a WR that teams had to worry over his RAC yards like TO.

That's that desire. When he gets the ball, he wants that end zone. And you have to kill him to get him down. Like I said, it's only one game, but I'ma full on fan. I've never seen anything like that for my boys.

my opinion on the situation is that he would have been absolutely insane to celebrate after that play. It was a great play and he was an absolute unstoppable monster in the game, but due to the circumstances it would have been pretty stupid.

Some of my non cowboys fan friends even joked that parcells would have cut owens on the spot, for celebrating after that catch. But I am still happy that he didn't celebrate. He is a real joy to watch and WHEN Bledsoe gets it together there is gonna be more than enough of owens dancing to go around. Your gonna think he is auditioning for dancing with the stars or something lol

Im strong planted in the Anti-Owens camp, but I could careless whether or not he does TD celebrations or not.

I just want him to be a beast on the field and not be a disruption.

If Bledsoe misses him too many times or he keeps getting chunks of yardage called back due to penalties...I think you can start the time bomb.
:lmao2: funny sig!!

IN the first half, the pass where Bledsoe under threw him and the CB made a play on the ball to knock it down, Owens ran by this cat like he was a light pole, and had 5 yards on the guy, he would have caught the pass and been in the endzone before the FS could even know what was going on.

Another play, when Fasano gave him a pick, and TO caught the ball, when he took off, he got up to full speed and covered 25 yards in like a couple of seconds... Wow! I have never seen someone accelerate like that. His 10 and 20 yd times must be off the charts.

I honestly didn't think he was as good as he is. I mean I realize that I don't pay as much attention to non-dallas players, but I didn't think he was that good. Seriously. I saw him make plenty of good plays when he was in SF and Philly... but he just looked, I don't know... harder to bring down. And his change of direction is better than I thought. Combine his strength, the ability he has to turn upfield so fast, and his change of direction, and you have a guy that is extrememly dangerous each time he gets his hands on the ball.

Watching TO be so dominant, combined with being pleasantly surprised by the O-Line (I thought they did better than many here, I think) has made me look forward to the rest of the season much more than I'm pouting about yesterday's loss. We're going to get it together and the rest of the NFL better watch out.

Honestly, we made mistakes, had turnovers and Bledsoe helped TO leave about 100 yards or so on the field... and we still almost beat a good team like Jax. A lot of teams messing up like that... in Jax... would've gotten spanked. We blew it and still had a good chance to pull it out.

I'm really not upset. Funny, a crappy team like the one Crankcase led can have some lucky throw to Galloway tipped and snagged when it should've been an INT, and pull out a lucky win... and everyone is all smiles. An obviously talented team who just had one of those days against a 12-4 team and still almost wins... well, the whole, entire sky is falling.

I knew we were lucky the day Galloway caught the tip and so I wasn't that happy... and I knew we weren't going far. I also know we're a good team now who might beat Jax 8 out of 10 times... and so I'm not that upset. We'll win a lot this year. I'm not worried about that.

I was most impressed with his behavior AFTER he made that great TD grab late in the fourth quarter.

He DID NOT prance around and make a celebration dance!

The guy proved to me that he indeed wants to be a total team player.

This non-event was bigger than the TD itself in terms of team chemistry.

why would anyone celebrate a TD when you team is down 14 (cutting it to 7) with less than 2 minute to go and you don't have the ball?
only idiots and losers would do that......thank god, he didn't do anything stupid.

Agreed. He definitely put trying to win the game ahead of any showboating.

Thats exactly the way I felt.
I did begin to view him a bit differently a few months ago when I heard he held the all-time single game reception record with 20.
That stiff arm on the db yesterday was beautiful. Power, attitude and desire.
The dude can carry this offense, with the threat of Glenn and Witten, if whomever playing QB can get him the ball.

Oh my.

I must admit I don't view him any differently than before. He's still a spoiled baby team cancer.
