What does his position in college have to do with anything? If teams don't think he can play QB and is a good enough athlete to play WR, he's going to be a WR.

What teams have said he would have to play WR and what teams have said he can't play QB?

Every athletic QB that comes out has to play WR according to a lot of talking heads.

If he's a raw QB prospect then he's a raw QB prospect, switching him to a position he's never played just because he's "athletic" is ridiculous reasoning.

He doesn't have leverage to do that. He will not get a big pay day being a low round pick in the supplemental draft. He is gonna have to earn it.

He is not humble ... he will not accept a position change cause its not in his nature. He one of the "Me Generation" type players ... but doenst back it up like Irvin or PrimeTime.

As a qb prospect his outlook is the CFL, interest by the nfl is most likely because he's an above average athlete. That's why a position switch is likely. He's in the same boat as Stanback.

Yeah, I guess. Though prototypical QBs are the way to go. Most of the other types don't last long or convert to a prototypical QB. It seems that is what Vick is doing.

He was lucky to get in the supplemental draft. The new CBA doesn't even allow the rookies to get paid like before, even the first rounders this year. There is no way for him to get paid. Cam Newton was the #1 pick this year and compare what he made to the #1 pick last year.

I don't think his handlers are telling him he's Steve Young or that he will be paid like that. I would bet that they are telling him just the opposite. It's a different ballgame now. He's not the BMOC anymore.

I don't want him but I do hope someone gets him. It will be interesting to see how he does. There is only one Michael Vick - who is injured a lot by the way. Smaller version of VY/6 maybe? Coddled, protected, praised, BMOC, entitled.

He is suspended from the NFL for the first 5 games of the season. I guess that means you wouldn't need a roster spot for him until week 6.

I'd be interested as Pryor as a QB at the right price. I would go no higher than a 4th rd pick. Other teams will most likely offer more IMO.

Depending on how desperate some teams are for a QB (SF?, SEA?, MIA?) maybe you could swing a decent trade involving Kitna to one of those teams. McGee becomes the #2 and Pryor the #3 (after week 6). And how much time does McGee have left as a Cowboy? Is he a FA after this year or next. Wouldn't be bad to have Pryor on the bench for a year and see what he has next year.

I see Clev, Mia, SF, SEA, CIN most interested in Pryor.

I wouldn't mind dropping a 6th, or at the very most a 5th on Pryor. Although, I have no idea how he fits on this team. Whose roster spot on the 53 is he going to take? Not a huge fan of McGee, but I think he's done enough to have a firm grip on the 3rd QB spot.

Also, I keep hearing the notion of turning Pryor into a WR. Let's be real, Pryor is athletic for a quarterback, but he'd be nothing special as a WR IMO.

Having said all that, I'm glad to hear the Cowboys are turning over every rock looking to add talent.

As a Buck Fan I've seen all he's games.. He's athletic ability will outweigh.. him coming in cheap in the supplemental draft.

This guy would be great for development as what we done with Tony Romo

For starters..he would be great in the Wild Cat and we know Jason does like do the WC

Pryor... IMO is... and would be way better in the WC than Choice would be..

Hines Ward was converted to WR and he's not much of an athlete... he's just tough as nails and has great hands.

I will not be surprised if we take Pryor because we all know that this is Kitna's last year. I have heard he will retire after this year. The long term plan could be to develop Pryor then trade him.

what's wrong with grooming someone like this? what would it cost us? The stephen mcgee thing looks like it's getting old, fast.

It is? I don't sew why McGee is a bad option. He's shown some real promise each time he's played recently (going back to last year and the first preseason game this year) and now you just want to drop him for a guy who may not ever even be a solid #3 QB in the NFL?
