PSU TE Tyler Warren

I think Warren is going to be a stud…but hard to argue upgrading the TE position is going to significantly improve the team.

The obvious rule zero of the draft, is pick a dude who is going to be a good player. Warren looks like a freaking stud, so he qualifies there. I couldn't be mad about the pick.

I'm a yes. I'm done with Ferguson. The guy was awful really this year. Don't know exactly why but he was not playing well, even when healthy. This PSU kid gets it done every week.
He is as slow as Witten was in his last year.

Obviously prefer money positions but in a weak class have to considers guys you consider will be studs. He fits that bill IMO.

Any interest in him with our first rounder?

Could be a dynamic playmaking player in the NFL.

I like Ferguson and he’s probably a top 8 TE but he is upgradable imo.

Especially for a guy like this.
Its a love the player, not the pick thing for me. If its a scenario where he was much better than money 5 guys at need spots, Id be all for it. I was all for Pitts in 2021. However at 12 thats not the case. There will be potential 15 sack edge rushers and potential 10 sack DT's there

He looks the part.

There just aren’t too many flaws to his game, he has great hands, he plays with attitude, and is a load to bring down.

Is he good enough for Taylor Swift? That’s the big question.
T Swift would expect better routes she knows footwork from all that dancing. Definitely more of a Gronk style player.

Ferg problem this year is his qb play. I don’t look at him as a guy who played poor because of his skill:
Ferg is a pretty good player, but he's not a #2 or even #3 option. He's no better than Dalton Schultz. He disappears in the red zone, no matter who is under center. 7 TDs in 46 career games. He's simply not good enough.

Warren looks like a real threat. Probably not worth the 12th pick, but perhaps the 20th if they were to move down that far.

I don't need him to be my #2 or #3. I can use a #2 receiver.....or a running back. Two positions that have proven you can get later in the draft. Tight end fits that too. I have to be smart about this top 15 pick.

I’d consider him the #1 receiver regardless of position. The kid is an absolute stud. So, YES, I’d consider him with Dallas’ 1st. In fact, I’d go Big Ten with Rounds 1-3 if possible (Warren in the 1st, Tyleik Williams in 2, and Nick Singleton in the 3rd IF the 2 PSU guys declare).

there are probably more pressing needs, but he looks like a stud.

Kid is going to be good in the nfl. If we don't have "our guy" at 12, I'd 100% trade back a few spots and pick him.
