PSU TE Tyler Warren

When I watch playoff games and people say they want burden or Warren I get a good chuckle.
Why? Every team left in the playoffs has a great WR or TE on their roster. Many of them are first round picks.

If Warren was guaranteed to be a Kittle, Kelce level TE, you still wouldn't want him?

What teams won their playoff games in large part because of their tight end or receivers?

Well, teams in the playoffs right now are mostly winning because of QB play, a strong pass rush, and great coaching.

With rushing the passer we have a good start in Micah, but we don’t have great QB play, or coaching, so playmaking is left up to our playmakers.

For instance, it’s obvious to see how much better the offense is when they force the ball to Lamb. When this team needs production, they force the rock to Lamb, and most of the time, it works.

But he is our only offensive playmaker on the team right now. Maybe the next coach can figure out how to use guys like Vaughn or Turpin, but who knows?

I like drafting DTs and OL as much as the next guy, but I also believe having a legitimately great TE who can be clutch on 3rd down and a beast in the red zone would be incredibly impactful for this team right now.

Philly won because of their defense and oline. Not the qb or their receiving weapons. I could discuss other teams as well but it wouldn't matter. I believe what I believe and you believe what you want.

That’s fine but you take what the draft gives you and a elite TE prospect is better than a jag defensive player or lineman.

We need a difference maker anywhere we can get one.

Tyler Warren helps every aspect of our offense.

If you have no problem using a 1st round pick on a WR then you should have no problem drafting a great pass catching TE. They both are offensive weapons. If the Cowboys draft Warren I will have no problem with it.

Lol ok Yall win. Get some "weapons"

He NEEDS to be the pick!! 800-1000 yard 8td guy year one and fits perfectly with Lamb. Also can be used in slot, as a RB, X, and decent blocker.
1) Warren
2) Henderson in the 2nd and Martinez out of Miami in 4th
3) Free agent WR (Diggs)

I he's BPA at the time, I don't have a bid issue with it. 25' will be Ferg's contract year and could save us some cash in the long run, but probably a bit redundant with Ferg & Shoon (who I thought started to show more last year) in the short term.

If we go nuts in FA I’d consider him in a trade back…I think he’s one of the best TE prospects I’ve seen since Pitts.

But we’ll be asleep during FA so can’t afford a TE in the 1st.

We’re really acting like a TE that put up 104 receptions, 1,233 yards, 8 TDs, and another 218 yards rushing with 4 TDs is somehow not a “weapon.”

Kansas City
That's 1 out of how many? That's proving my point. It's not the norm. And kelce wasn't doing anything in big playoff games with good old Alex Smith so..........

I'd you want him that's fine. I'm not interested in him at all.

Playoff football is won by ground and pound. I agree. KC just so happens to have a superstar QB.
Jeanty would do more for the Cowboys offense than any WR or TE.
