For a Calvin Johnson, yes. Just not for the 2007 Dallas Cowboys. He's not going to be the player that could come in here and be that guy that takes us over the hump this very next year. Not with TO and the Girl already on the team. This would purely be a long term type of investment for the future. Running back is the only position I see that can have any type of impact we're hoping for here. But I only move up as high as 10 for him with those injury concerns.

i respect where you're coming from and what you're trying to say zrin my man - i just disagree cause history shows boom can bust even more often.

I also understand what you are saying ..... and I agree when it comes to most players

I just think that Calvin Johnson is that special player that only comes around once a decade.

I am prolly wrong ..... but we are in better shape this year to take a chance than since 1994 ...... and I want to take a chance to get a gamebreaker.

Now after saying all that there is no chance this trade is gonna happen ..... which is what I said in my first post.

Cannot wait till tomorrow to see what we get.

:D

that's a good point to you're making about playing the percentages and when a time would be good for a move like this. i'm on the conservative side so i'd not do it - but if you're gonna take a risk, do it 100% and don't slow down - so that would be a good way to do that.

one things for sure - whatever we do tomorrow there will be some happy people, some pissed off people, and a lot of people trying to figure it out. : )
