Pump the breaks

No one is ever going to apologize for a WIN. For the fans, (which is short for fan-antic) only care about WINS.
While Owners/Players #1 concerns is getting paid, not winning.

With that, caution!
The FOOLS GOLD is now selling for fan-antics because of the win

But Dallas fans have seen this scenario for decades.....
Cowboys can only play the teams on their schedule. But we know the Cowboys beat losing teams and lose to winning teams
With that, Dallas should beat a hapless Buccaneers team without the starting QB: Baker Mayfielding .

Daron Bland was horrible vs Texans. And the OL was getting destroyed by the Texans DL. Prescott had little time to throw
Aubrey was better only because he didn't kick anything out of bounds on the kickoff. Missed (2) extremely long FG.
Dumb coaching decisions to kicks these with the OL getting mauled.
Pickens was basically invisible expect for one completed pass.( Which was a good reception).

On to Week 5 Thursday
Give me a brake.

Exactly, DAL would never beat Philly and KC last year, oh wait......

This....it wasn't phantom calls - especially at the goal line. One was extremely clear holding and the other - his arm was wrapped around the WR waist the entire time (no matter what Olsen was saying).
The 1st play the receiver runs straight into him causing the collision. No pass int. The 2nd one could have gone either way on holding but since he wasn't even being targeted or looked at, it was an odd call as it was blatant.

Lol...the moment they made contact, his arm goes to his waist, not just sitting there as your saying. He's holding him and pulls him when he goes up. If you can't see that....then it's pointless arguing with you.
It's pointless arguing with you. If you think those are penalties then DBs can't even cover receivers in your pansy league. That's just right coverage he didn't turn him, hold him, or after his course.

Another good point....
When the refs help your team and win, no one ever acknowledges this fact.
When the refs call against your team, fans scream the refs cheated.

Texans actually defeated themselves
I'd rather keep getting the breaks than pump them. Lord knows we've certainly seen our share of breaks going against us.

The second one was a clear hold. He impeded Pickens. Otherwise, Pickens gets wide open and maybe he gets targeted.

On the first one, I agree that Pickens initiated the contact, so it should not have been called. I think what got it called was Lassiter wrapping his right arm around Pickens in order to not be pushed away. I don't think it was offensive PI because Pickens didn't shove him away, he just ran into him with his body and then tried to use his body as a shield.

It's different IMO than the DPI called against Bland the previous week. Like with Lassiter, the receiver initiated the contact against Bland, who was standing his ground. However, Bland did nothing to impede the receiver from going back to the ball. So either it was OPI or no call.

It seems that officials are allowing receivers to run into defensive backs, though, without it being considered OPI. If they want to do that, they should at least not penalize the DBs if they don't grab or otherwise impede them.

Several borderline penalties that favored us and it seemed like a few missed ones on us.
The previous week, I thought Baltimore benefitted more from bad calls than we did ... slightly. Frankly, the DPI against Bland was a terrible call, much worse than the DPI against Lassiter. We kind of got a makeup call for that one late in the game, but there was an even worse call than that that helped Baltimore score once, but I can't remember it at the moment. This week, it seemed to go our way more.

He literally just acknowledged it. Even though what he really meant was they called the game fairly accurately.

Agree in general, but things to consider.

Once Durant and Revel return, and Porter is fully employed, Bland will be able to go back to where he's had success....slot corner. In fact, I've always thought he would be a good safety so he can ball hawk.
Agree. Get theses guys back on the field. And get Thompson and Locke back at Safety. Will only help even more.
Aubrey didn't miss two kicks. One was blocked because Broderick Jones didn't even bother to try, and the other he rushed because he feared another block. Two have been blocked in two weeks, which messes with a kicker's head.

Pickens had a good game. The Texans doubled over the top of him all game, which allowed CD to go off. If teams want to do that, they'll get killed. Next game, they might roll to CD, which will leave Pickens more chances. However, Pickens is a very limited route runner; he only really runs slants, deep ins, and go routes, and he's not a slot guy at all.
I disagree. And even the coaches say they can line up Pickens anywhere.
Shotty had a stellar day overall with playcalling, but I'm getting worried that CP is in way over his head. I don't really see a "scheme" with him. Nothing creative or unique about it. Just line up and play straight 3-4 defense is all I'm seeing with an occasional blitz. We'll judge that in a few weeks once more injured guys return.
Schotty did bounce back in this game. Maybe he drank the water in Rio. Got back to Texas water.
Dallas should roll Tampa and Green Bay, then beat Philly. Otherwise, they're just the same team beating up on bad teams early in the season and losing to anyone with a real pulse.
I agree to a point. Dallas could and can beat TB, GB, Philly. Then they have Arizona, Indy, Tennessee before they get Philly at home on T-Day.

Don't ALL teams beat up on losing teams. That is how they build upon wins.

He always takes up for the refs for it to go against Dallas. But the refs are wrong when it goes for Dallas.

It was a penalty. They first was the contact after 5 yard, or looked to be after 5 years, it was close, then he was turned in the endzone.
