Pump the breaks

No one is ever going to apologize for a WIN. For the fans, (which is short for fan-antic) only care about WINS.
While Owners/Players #1 concerns is getting paid, not winning.

With that, caution!
The FOOLS GOLD is now selling for fan-antics because of the win

But Dallas fans have seen this scenario for decades.....
Cowboys can only play the teams on their schedule. But we know the Cowboys beat losing teams and lose to winning teams
With that, Dallas should beat a hapless Buccaneers team without the starting QB: Baker Mayfielding .

Daron Bland was horrible vs Texans. And the OL was getting destroyed by the Texans DL. Prescott had little time to throw
Aubrey was better only because he didn't kick anything out of bounds on the kickoff. Missed (2) extremely long FG.
Dumb coaching decisions to kicks these with the OL getting mauled.
Pickens was basically invisible expect for one completed pass.( Which was a good reception).

On to Week 5 Thursday
Give me a brake.

Exactly, DAL would never beat Philly and KC last year, oh wait......

This....it wasn't phantom calls - especially at the goal line. One was extremely clear holding and the other - his arm was wrapped around the WR waist the entire time (no matter what Olsen was saying).
The 1st play the receiver runs straight into him causing the collision. No pass int. The 2nd one could have gone either way on holding but since he wasn't even being targeted or looked at, it was an odd call as it was blatant.

Lol...the moment they made contact, his arm goes to his waist, not just sitting there as your saying. He's holding him and pulls him when he goes up. If you can't see that....then it's pointless arguing with you.
It's pointless arguing with you. If you think those are penalties then DBs can't even cover receivers in your pansy league. That's just right coverage he didn't turn him, hold him, or after his course.

Another good point....
When the refs help your team and win, no one ever acknowledges this fact.
When the refs call against your team, fans scream the refs cheated.

Texans actually defeated themselves
I'd rather keep getting the breaks than pump them. Lord knows we've certainly seen our share of breaks going against us.

The second one was a clear hold. He impeded Pickens. Otherwise, Pickens gets wide open and maybe he gets targeted.

On the first one, I agree that Pickens initiated the contact, so it should not have been called. I think what got it called was Lassiter wrapping his right arm around Pickens in order to not be pushed away. I don't think it was offensive PI because Pickens didn't shove him away, he just ran into him with his body and then tried to use his body as a shield.

It's different IMO than the DPI called against Bland the previous week. Like with Lassiter, the receiver initiated the contact against Bland, who was standing his ground. However, Bland did nothing to impede the receiver from going back to the ball. So either it was OPI or no call.

It seems that officials are allowing receivers to run into defensive backs, though, without it being considered OPI. If they want to do that, they should at least not penalize the DBs if they don't grab or otherwise impede them.

Pickens has that off-man cover figured out.

Just run into the DB.

Easy 5 yd penalty. 8)
Seems to be a league trend. Baltimore used it the previous week against Bland.

Several borderline penalties that favored us and it seemed like a few missed ones on us.
The previous week, I thought Baltimore benefitted more from bad calls than we did ... slightly. Frankly, the DPI against Bland was a terrible call, much worse than the DPI against Lassiter. We kind of got a makeup call for that one late in the game, but there was an even worse call than that that helped Baltimore score once, but I can't remember it at the moment. This week, it seemed to go our way more.
