Pump the breaks

Seems to be a league trend. Baltimore used it the previous week against Bland.

But yet there are a few that will say it was, but yet saying the one on Houston on GP wasn't. Which was more contact than this.

Thanks for this one to prove the refs did not favor Dallas.

They were a factor, twice giving us another shot when inside the 5 on that one drive.
Weren't they legit penalties? (I could only watch on RedZone) And if so, isn't that why penalties are enforced, because the plays may have been more successful without the advantage of not playing within the rules?

No one is ever going to apologize for a WIN. For the fans, (which is short for fan-antic) only care about WINS.
While Owners/Players #1 concerns is getting paid, not winning.

With that, caution!
The FOOLS GOLD is now selling for fan-antics because of the win

But Dallas fans have seen this scenario for decades.....
Cowboys can only play the teams on their schedule. But we know the Cowboys beat losing teams and lose to winning teams
With that, Dallas should beat a hapless Buccaneers team without the starting QB: Baker Mayfielding .

Daron Bland was horrible vs Texans. And the OL was getting destroyed by the Texans DL. Prescott had little time to throw
Aubrey was better only because he didn't kick anything out of bounds on the kickoff. Missed (2) extremely long FG.
Dumb coaching decisions to kicks these with the OL getting mauled.
Pickens was basically invisible expect for one completed pass.( Which was a good reception).

On to Week 5 Thursday
They barely beat an 0-3 team last Sunday and get to face another one on Thursday.

Yes, tap the brakes.

But this being the Zone, I know the usual suspects won't do that.

Take a look around the NFC & our own division.

The goal right now is collecting wins.

Style points don’t matter.

Win games, stay healthy, get better.

It’s tough right now.

I think for Dallas to ultimately win big in the post season the run game has to improve.
100%

Every game is a war. That was a desperate Texans team and a tough place to play. Their D is top 3.

Our team is a work in progress. We have a new defensive scheme and a lot of guys hurt on that side of the ball.

As prolific as the offense has been— there is still way too much meat left on the bone. They haven’t played a complete game yet, and as you pointed out, the rushing attack is yet to hit on all cylinders, though kudos for 3 rushing RZ TDs on Sunday. That was nice to see for sure.

Lastly, this coaching staff is flaky. They are making some bone headed calls that are hurting this team and for sure cost us the Ravens game. Special teams is awful and our DC is really, really green. We are out-coached almost every week.

But the good news is they can get better. Stay in the fight and work on dialing in the details. Winning on Thursday gets a nice little breather over the mini bye and gets us above .500.

Would be just what the Dr ordered

The rest of the NFC is terrible...the Cowboys should easily make the playoffs and maybe even win the division, even with all of their flaws. This is finally the year folks. Even if the Cowboys miss, they can't miss this season
I have a feeling anyone in the NFCE will have to win it to make the playoffs.

Weren't they legit penalties? (I could only watch on RedZone) And if so, isn't that why penalties are enforced, because the plays may have been more successful without the advantage of not playing within the rules?
There are legit penalties on every play. No exceptions.

Games are now called to keep the games close. That's why you have more comebacks than any time in NFL history. Blowouts = fewer viewers = less money in TV contracts. NFL is a business.

This....it wasn't phantom calls - especially at the goal line. One was extremely clear holding and the other - his arm was wrapped around the WR waist the entire time (no matter what Olsen was saying).
Now start looking at clear penalties that are not called.

The Texans offense when Nico Collins is healthy isn't bad. They should have beat Buffalo the 1st game of the season...putting up 31 points.

I think too many were looking at the winless Texans as a bad team. They aren't.
Texans are the best 0-4 team ever in the NFL. Need a QB. They'd love to have Dak.

Houston almost won with 2,000 penalties called against them. That's some 9-8 football we're playing right now. Hopefully we can get it going later on in the year.
