The skin back there is sensitive and some Chapstick wouldn't kill people. Carmex would be even better.

People in general don't like guys who are jerks. When Jacobs is talking about Romo, he is the jerk of the video and Romo is the victim. Then, sports analysts tear apart what Jacobs had said about Romo, both proving him wrong and making him look like an even bigger jerk. The viewers are still seeing Jacobs as the attacker and Romo as the victim.

Then, right at the end of the video, Jacobs is suddenly made into the victim by a Cowboy fan who is taking a cheap shot at him. Instantly, a public who doesn't like jerks has an even bigger one to dislike.

What people who didn't like the ending are tying to say (I think), is that Jacobs should have been left as the jerk who attacked Romo instead of the NFL player that got made fun of by an internet blogger. Viewers could have walked away thinking how much of a jerk Jacobs is instead of leaving with a sense that the video was simply made and manipulated by a Cowboy fan that hates Brandon Jacobs.

Just my two cents.

That's a good explanation, AsthmaField. Anything posted on this site--regardless of whether it's a post, reply, video, image, etc.--is susceptible to being critiqued. Not posting anything would be the only way to avoid criticism.

In my opinion, the first 3:47 seconds of the video was outstanding and the last few seconds are not. The entire video should have been (and was) posted as its creator intended. However, once it's out there for everyone to see, it's open to individual interpretation. That's just a part of life's expectations.

That is essentially exactly what I have been trying to say. Thank you and unless directly questioned I will shut my festering gob in this thread from now on.

I'm not an Oscar voter, so I have no earthly idea, but if I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath.
