I do not care how well he has played or anything else. You’re playing a 7th round rookie QB in the playoffs and we have to figure out how to make him unravel.

The key is going to be putting up points and getting them out of their run/pass balance. Make them more predictable.

Parsons has lived in QBs heads all season and I just can’t see our pass rush not making Purdy completely unravel at some point.

The key to this game is jumping out on them offensively and forcing Purdy to carry that offense. He will start to unravel and throw picks. It has to happen.

Agree! The thing that impressed me about him in the Seattle game was his ability to move in the pocket and take off as needed. I’m hoping with Parsons making him slide that he then runs into LVE if he scrambles. I’d also like to see him try and beat us deep. What I mean is I’d love to jam McCaffrey at the line so he has a harder time getting quick throws and screens. The issue is really those passes to Debo. If he has to go downfield I think it’s a plus for us!

If we can't handle their running game then it won't matter who their QB is. They are going to try to do what they did last year. Run it down our throats and when we finally put 8 in the box they will hit us with easy pitch and catch. Hope our DT's have their big boy pants on Sunday evening.

Watching Purdy is like watching Romo.

But even Romo in his early days had some shockingly poor performances and carelessness with the football.

Pressure makes all QBs unravel and that is just simply what we have to do.

If the offense builds a lead I could see us blowing them out of Purdy become 1 dimensional.

I know Purdy moves better than Brady but even Brady was getting sloppy with the ball in fear of our pass rush the other night.

SF has had a weak schedule this season. Faced weak offenses and well as weak defenses.
This the same stuff ours fans said all year long...when we get to the playoffs we will face better teams...blah, blah...

Well it is more so for SF.
The best offenses they faced was KC, and they put up like 43 points. Miami, without Tua, or he was playing concussed still, can't remember, TB and they weren't even at full strength, as they were in our playoff game. Seattle, you really want to say they our a truly strong offense? LAC was the other offense, but they were down their 2 top WR.

Best defenses they faced. Seattle, not bad but not great, Rams, shell of themselves, KC, not all that great either, Saints possibly, Dolphins could be good at times, Washington possibly.

We played much better on both side, after all 3 teams and almost all 4 from the NFCE made the playoffs.

Hope - noun. a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
Wish - noun. a desire or hope for something to happen.
Pray - verb. to use prayer to request (that something may happen).

This is bad business. Just go out there and play like some crazed dogs. Make him look like he never wanted any part of our defense. I'm ready for our defense to make other QBs look shook out there. I can't wait for Sunday night. This will be a huge test for our team.

Niners beat Bucs 35 - 7
Cowboys split their two games. 3 - 19; 31 - 14

Niners beat Rams twice. 24 - 9; 31 - 14
Cowboys beat Rams once. 22 - 10

yeah i'm not sure seattle has the speedrushers we do. moving around the pocket may be to our benefit honestly as things move quickly and improvisation leads to mistakes

When you can get close to 200 yards rushing out of your offense, it takes a little of the heat off a rookie QB. Stopping the run has been the Cowboys achilles heel for a while.
The good news is that this front 7 is very good when healthy and having LVE and Hankins in the middle. If they can put pressure, sack, hurry etc Purdy, he's not going to be as effective passing.
This is it, all or nothing on getting to the next level. They just simply need to piss-pound San Fran the same way they've shown they can.

But damn the 9ers are scary.

I will say his ability to maneuver and extend plays is what has me nervous. He has some elite options between Deebo and CMC that are there waiting to bail him out. Pass rush has to get there and finish or they will make us pay.

He looks good. Won't take that from him. There's a reason why a rookie hasn't won a SB...they eventually rear their ugly head. Not sure if we've seen a rookie have this stacked of a team but hey let's show them he's a rookie.

If Purdy and Dak have similar stats at the end of the game the Cowboys are easily losing by 2 TDs.

This is the game where Dak has to clearly outplay the other QB.
Not even sure if that's enough. I don't think we are going to escape this game with Dak just playing well. We can't let them rush for 200 yards like we use to do the Rams.

It will come down to the game plan Quinn can construct. . . . Last week The way he used LVE was genius

I believe press man coverage and moving Micah all around will be key . . . again LVE will need to step up

And the offense cannot turn the ball over

No idea how good he is or how good he will be, but I watched the game against the Seahawks last week and a couple of things stuck out.

1) He takes risks over the middle of the field. There were several passes that the Seahawks nearly intercepted. Hopefully we can get 1 or 4.

2) He uses his check downs to his backs very well. 2 of his TD's last week were on check downs to RB's. Have to be very leary of McCaffrey (duh).
