Thanks, I appreciate the acknowledgement. Now, can you support the claim that this was a Pyrrhic victory? That's all I'm asking. I know we got a few injuries, but have we been devastated? Post #6 was spot on.

Die hard fan with star tat on my left forearm…..waiting 26 years…..I am not a rainy day fan….Dallas is my team but I am not deluded into believing what I saw yesterday is anything but a very bad omen….the rest of you can be overjoyed…..it is what it is…..not good.

Devastation is in the eye of the beholder…..even Skip Bayless, who I love, has consumed the kool aid…..even after Dak’s disastrous performance and decision making against horrible teams.

I'm not drinking the kool aid. IMO we're a level below the Eagles and 49ers. I'm not as impressed as many people with our offense. I'll be rooting for the Cowboys, but don't expect to get by these teams. If we do, great. But as of right now the Cowboys are in tact. If we lose, it will be because we're not the better team. Not because of anything else.

Bingo…..not drinking the kool aid does not a Dallas hater or troll make. Dak is simply not a top tier QB and will not get us by the best teams. Not going to happen. Teleporting Dak to a better team ala Stafford would actually doom them to defeat. We have a great D and a very good offense. But the $140 million man is not taking us to the promised land. Not going to happen.

I was surprised Blandino sides with McCarthy too. The reason I was surprised is because I could see that mistake being made. It was pretty clear, but it was "blatant" to someone in a hurry to get the game under way.

Refs made a mistake, but not intentionally, IMO.
