As a QB I'm sure Johnson has good hands and unlike Crayton who may have been a QB a long time ago he is not one now and I would rather trust someone who can pick it up and deliver it under pressure. I will say 9 times out of 10 on a fumbled snap or bad snap your not going to get a play off anyways as the defensive unit is pretty much on top of you
I see your point, but in the situation of a botched snap, you still have some time to react. I have paid attention to quite a few botched snaps, and usually, the holder either has time to either scramble for yardage or roll out and hope for someone to get open. Nobody expects a botched snap so the defense is caught off guard. BTW, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Crayton our third QB at one point in the season last year after Henson was cut? I'm sure Crayton has seen some plays behind center in practice during that time.

Do you remember his one attempt at throwing a pass in the nfl? I would like to forget it personally. Maybe he can learn from Johnson and take over when he retires.
If you'd like to forget it, why are you reminding me of it?

Honestly Yeag. :banghead:

That pass was a trick play against a first string defense. I think he would be more effective than that against special teams.

I love Crayton but he is not a QB and while he may have been the emergency QB if all went wrong he is still not a QB. I would rather see the backup QB in there taking care of the job. I would stay with my point 9 out of 10 times on bad snaps your not going to get much of a chance to do anything except cover the ball.

So say two guys who are allegedly older than Brad Johnson and not in as good a shape as he is.

Let's put it this way Mr. Frosty, "I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm good once as I ever was." :lmao2:

As I told your tag team partner.

I don't care. I'm just tired of the trolling.

Oh yeah, Mike Winicki is the Cold Meister, I'm the Heat Meister. Think hot headed, not frosty.

You still claim to be older than a man you and your tag team partner slam repeatedly whilst you troll for reactions. It's old. It's tired.

Yet you both profess not to like the "abuse" you get in return. That's so curious.

Because they're veterans, dangit. They served courageously in a war they were too young for.

I said JJ should buy BJ bifocals to handle the holding duties. You call that trolling? Unbelievable. Everyone on this board knows my views of BJ. Instead of ripping him, I chose to lighten up and make a little humor regarding his holding duties. You comeback, all worked up - again - and call that trolling. Whatever.
I too am tired of some of the antics going on around here...

Hey SuperPUNK, before you question my service to my country, you best have the facts on your side.
Your username fits you perfectly - always ready and willing to pile on others. At least your consistant.

I love it when people act like they don't know what trolling is.

Okay, I'll play along. Trolling is when you post things looking for negative reactions.

That's what you and your tag team partner did...again.

Yet again, you accuse me of being "worked up." At least I'm not in a "lather." I don't get worked up, but I do get fed up. Those who know my sarcastic nature probably realize I am fast approaching that point.

I don't care what you are tired of, so spare me.

I'll make you a deal.

You and your buddy become less of a pair of bold-faced liars - and I'll be less of a punk.

Do we have an accord?

Sorry I upset you yet again. It was not my intention. Very frustrating to continually get taken to the woodshed by you and the subsequent piling on that takes place afterwards by a handful who enjoy the sport of it. I'm perfectly aware you could give a rip. So be it.

I don't know. You seem to enjoy it.
