For those that think Bledsoe has an outside shot of starting/playing even without an injury, have you all considered the fact that he may be rusty. Someone said that Bledsoe will be fresh. I think, for a 34-yr old QB used to starting, but hasn't played or even sniffed the field except for warmups, the possibility of him being rusty is possible. Despite his "all-world" experience, unless he got starter's practice snaps, I'm not confident he can just walk on the field and be ready to go.

But if Romo goes down for any reason, I'll become the biggest Bledsoe supporter this board has ever seen.:starspin

Nah I remember those. I remember Bledsoe struggling in 2 of the first 5 games. While pretty much crushing the lesser teams ( Titans , Texans and Skins ).. Pretty much the same Romo has done this year. Beat on the bad teams ( minus the lions of course ) and looking pretty bad against the good ones.

Just being a realist. I refuse to be sucked in by all the hype and hot air.

romo (last 5 games) 2 wins 3 losses 6td 8ints 7 fumbles 3 lost

bledsoe(last 5 full games)3 wins 2 losses 7td 7ints 4 fumbles 2 lost

**Bledsoe's numbers are a bit better, but not great and had a rushing td as well.
**Also under Bledsoe we ran the ball alot better and more often and controlled the clock.

I would start Matt Baker.:p:

but i would bet that Romo has passed for a lot more yards and wasnt sacked nearly as much as Bledslow was. not to mention Romo much more accurate than bledslow

Does that mean anything? Seriously. Turnovers are turnovers no matter what.

Stop with the name twisting already. It is very childish and only shows your bias towards a person.

Hehe... Yea I know he will be rusty.. All I am saying is at this point I ( as in ME ME ME :) ) wouldnt mind if something happened for Bledsoe to HAVE to play. I remember him being rusty before in 2001 and coming into the AFC Championship game and throwing a needed TD pass ( lets be real .. TDs are always needed :laugh2:). His rust showed in going 10 for 21 though.

well consider me bias then and childish because i wont stop calling him bledslow, it wouldnt be the worst things i have ever been called. Your kidding right that it doesnt mean anything????? :laugh2: if Romo has more yards and a higher completion % then it means he is still setting up the team in much better scoring chances than bledslow was. If bledslow was not moving the team consistently enough then not only was he not giving us enough scoring chances but he was giving the other team way better field position when we punted and with the turnovers.

Hopefully the only time we see dreadsack tomorrow will be on the sidelines in his stadium jacket huddled up shucking seeds.

The only thing that needs to be said is that the Cowboys were averaging 29.4 points per game with Bledsoe.

And yes yards and completion percentage mean diddly if you turn the ball over.

Hope those rose colored glasses are presciption.

Edit : Example.. Chris Weinke had over 400 yards passing a few weeks ago but he also had 3 INTs. Those yards dont mean that much with 3 picks. The Panthers lost that game too I think.

They only show up when Romo is "struggling".

in 5 and 1/2 games Bledsoe turned the ball over 9 times.
in 10 and 1/2 games Romo turned the ball over 16 times.

you do the math

Kinda like how those people who didnt like or support Bledsoe?

This year even when Bledsoe had a good game they hounded him with " Look who they played " or " That wasnt even that good " but praise Romo for having equal or worse games / stretch?

One word desribes that.. BIAS.

P.S. That last pic is funny. Must be playing with his kids.

I'm very surprised that no one has brought this up: if Romo struggles early and seems off target does Bill put in Bledsoe to try to win the game and advance to the next round?

HELL NO!

Romo might be struggling right now but it's not all his fault. I'll rather live or die with Moxie than to take Bledsoe to a gun fight.

Romo all the way!.
