A lot of fans here seem to think it’s a crime for a player to want to get paid top dollar, as if they were in the players shoes they would accept a low deal. Lol You have idiots on this board claiming Dak is greedy and that he doesn’t care about the team. Lol I’ve never seen a bigger group of knuckleheads anywhere than what you find here.
And these same people would never take less at their job lol. NEVER. And if they would they are stupid.

No bigger Dak supporter around CZ than me, but it's delusional not to worry about the cap and how it will affect the team with Dak unwilling to take a paycut while younger key players like CeeDee, Pollard, Diggs, Micah and several others' contract extension coming up next year.
How about they all take paycuts?

Dak restructured his contract last year to allow some cap flexibility, as did Zach Martin. I figured he would work with the team on that. Most QB's do after they get the large contract.

A restructure is not the same as taking a paycut.

Mahomes next contract might have to be handled by the New York Yankees and Bill Gates

it could be upwards of 400 million after incentives and he deserves every penny

If this was a real job Dak would have been fired already.

In the real world people don't get rewarded for failing over and over.

No it is not. Quite a number of players make a lot in endorsements.

And growing up wealthy is not a crime as some here think.

No matter what he will make more than enough to live like a King for the rest of his life and HE KNOWS IT.

THAT is the real story. Scratching and clawing for every dollar is not necessary.

The way here some whine about SLAVE WAGES is obscene.

His attitude is exactly what every QB should have. IF the TEAM wins HE will win. IF the team is losing, money ain't going to make it all good.
Go in your job and tell them pay you less so yall can hire better workers. You know "teamwork" Despite what many of you believe, once you get to the NFL it becomes a JOB.

They all gonna get paid as well, except maybe Pollard, but he's getting paid this year. It's a myth that players take pay cuts unless they gonna get cut themselves and know they can't get a better deal. Even for all the old timers around here, you think yall favorite players from the 70s would play for free or less than what they was worth. Even if it's nothing compared to today, they still was getting paid compared to the average worker. What don't yall understand about entertainment? The players are the entertainment, and the entertainment gets paid, point blank period.

Way to not understand the point whatsoever.
