Denver 2013
Washington 2012 (playoffs on the line)
New Orleans 2012 (OT, 1 first down & out)
NY Giants 2012
NYJ 2011
Detroit 2011 (worst implosion I've ever seen)
I think you have no idea what the word "implosion" means.

Isn't punting the ball away what Romo haters wanted yesterday ? If you are going to add punting to choking requirements then you have probably quadrupled all of the chokes in NFL history.

By the way, can you think of anything else that happened in that Saints game, hmm? Like in the 60 prior minutes you slept through?

All that counts for being a great QB in the NFL is the last 2 minutes

See, you didn't read my posts. I am not a Romo hater. I supported the decision to re-sign him. My only point through this entire thread is that he is good, but will never be great, because he wilts in the clutch.

We're a mediocre team. We have not been to the playoffs for last 3 years and we have not added an impact player to the roster since 2010. Our core of star players are one year older, Romo, Witten, Ware, so we'll probably get worse before we get better.

It's easier to look at the facts, see Romo's results, his record as a starter, his career stats and the position he puts this team week in and week out, than to find a capable replacement.

Romo is a top 5 QB in the league in my opinion. Brady, Brees, Manning, Rodgers (the other four). Are you seriously saying you can find a QB that's better than any of those guys? Good luck finding him and going back the the mediority of the 2000s. Clint Stoerner, Drew Henson, Quincy Carter, Tony Banks, I'm sure they're all a fun and cool bunch, but Romo is at an entirely different level than everybody else.

This team without Romo would be the Buccaneers, Dolphins or current day Vikings. Talented, without any quality QB that can win more games.

We have had several opportunities to replace him. But that time has passed. You are correct when you suggest right now there is no one to go after. Jerry Jones seems to have a strange love affair with Romo and we are stuck with him for now. But he will NOT win us a Super Bowl. And that should not be acceptable for the Cowboy Nation. Is there anyone we can look for? They certainly have proven in the past to have a great eye for talent in the later rounds. Not sure what the answer is?
