plasticman--- who were you thinking of when you chose the username "plasticman"?

Corso-- so in other words you dont feel confident going into 2018 as you did in 2017?..or maybe you were not confident last year thinking it was more a fluke we went 13-3 then reality?I don't know... I believe it's impossible to know right now. So many moving parts and what is the injury situation(s) going to be as they traverse through camp, pre-season and the season itself?
Let's just say that I'm not putting money on them.
I'd like to think this team, as built, has the chance to make some noise, but I really need to see how this offense reacts to the departures, the new faces and Dak's hopefully continued development first.Corso-- so in other words you dont feel confident going into 2018 as you did in 2017?..or maybe you were not confident last year thinking it was more a fluke we went 13-3 then reality?
Cowboys have the personality of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
One year they will tease you the next they disappear. So they will be better over all but Superbowl?? not a chance.
“Rid”??? Freudian slip???Quantify your optimism of our team using a 1 to 10 scale (10 being best) in the following areas:
1. Team moving in the right direction. 8
2. We have a chance to win the SB this year 7
3. We are building a team to win a SB within three years 9
4. Our team progress is sustainable 8
5. Coaching. 7. It would be higher if Rid was gone.
6. Organization (front office). 9.Many people will disagree with this but I think Jerry and company are finally getting it.

Don't get me wrong! I'm excited for the season! I just can't place my finger on how well they're actually going to do right now.
It's a mystery only Dak can answer. This season should be telling.Corso--- ya man i agree....this team could go 12-4 or 4-12 and neither would surprise me...and this makes me uncomfortable...at least with Tony Romo even with teams far weaker than ours now i felt we could make noise and maybe do something....i know hindsight is 20-20...but i wish Tony could have remained healthy and had a chance with the personnel we before he got hurt in Seattle practice game..i guarantee Dez would have done so much better and if they had not won a super bowl i bet Witten would not have retired either..many times Tony carried this team on his back and Dak cannot do that yet or may never be able too?
i agree...let me ask you this....lets say Dak does not improve greatly but maybe improves a little..but still struggles holding ball too long and inaccurate throws and not reading field as adequately as one would hope....do you think cowboys say ..oh well..the heck with it...we will just pay him north of 20 mil a year hoping he will finally become great?...this posibility concerns me personallyIt's a mystery only can answer. I'm concerned also. I certainly hope not. There has to be real, tangible growth from him as a passer, to me, this year before inking him to a big, new deal, but we both know what this FO is capable of and the words that come out of Stephen's mouth makes me cringe sometimes.i agree...let me ask you this....lets say Dak does not improve greatly but maybe improves a little..but still struggles holding ball too long and inaccurate throws and not reading field as adequately as one would hope....do you think cowboys say ..oh well..the heck with it...we will just pay him north of 20 mil a year hoping he will finally become great?...this posibility concerns me personally
