Quantify your optimism of our team using a 1 to 10 scale (10 being best) in the following areas:

6. Organization (front office). 9.Many people will disagree with this but I think Jerry and company are finally getting it.

I don't get how both of you guys think this organization is moving in the right direction and Jerry is finally getting but give coaching a poor grade. Hiow are they getting it if he's still coaching here?

Jerry and Stephen are "getting it" in the sense that they've learned to step back and rely upon those like Will McClay and others to advise them. Left to their own capabilities, they wouldn't be nearly as effective as they've now become. Hopefully, that transition will continue long into the future, although there are no guarantees that they will. Let's also hope the coaching might improve somewhat with the addition of better talent. We'll see.

[2] 5
[3] 9
[4] 10

5’s across the board. If this were asked after the 2014 season the numbers would have been much higher. Considering the team has only been to the playoffs once the following 3 years with no additional playoff wins, the team will have to either prove they can win something or change the coaching staff (head coach & coordinators) for me to become optimistic again.

Cowboys have the personality of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
One year they will tease you the next they disappear. So they will be better over all but Superbowl?? not a chance.

My two biggest concerns!
I like the direction the team is moving but I dont think Garrett is capable of preparing this team to win a SB much less get there.
The jury is out on Dak. None of the above will matter if Daks ends up being very mediocre like last year.

For optimism : 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10......That's why it's called optimism.

Realistic expectation : 6, 2, 6, 8, 3, 5.

5, Coaching. 8 Overall, Jason is an excellent coach in the area of team building, developing a winning culture, analyzing player personnel, managing assistant coaches, and patience regarding a very challenging ownership. In game planning and gametime decisions,he still has opportunity for improvement
6. Organization (front office). 3. The Cowboys would be far more successful if it weren't for the constant sabotage of Jerry's interference. If his son Stephen were to apply for his current position in any of the other 31 NFL organizations, he wouldn't even be afforded the privilege of an interview. Substituting chromosomes for credentials has resulted in decades of incompetence.

We always win the Super Bowl in May and lose in December. Team stinks. Coaching stinks, Jerry sucks. Did I mention the Carrot Clapper stinks. Worst coach in the NFL. Has never adjusted to anything, ever! The anti-Belicheck.

1. Team moving in the right direction. - 9
2. We have a chance to win the SB this year - 2 Slim. Looking at our schedule I'm seeing between 7 and 9 wins.
3. We are building a team to win a SB within three years - 7
4. Our team progress is sustainable - 8
5. Coaching. - 6
6. Organization - 5 I see it improving over the last decade.

1. Right direction - 5
2. Chance to win SB - 0
3. Win SB n 3 years - 3
4. Progress sustainable - N/A
5. Coaching - 5
6. Organization (FO) - 5

Success starts at th top. DAL has good players n good scouting dept. th rest of this organization needs some turnover. Can't win big w/ a stale HC an GM (Stephen) who's turrible at trades an FA.

Hey! I was trying to be over optimistic. Your numbers are probably closer to reality. I'm just hoping they're not.
