No they wouldn't, that's why they are even more determined to win because of the mentally strong Fan base. They simply know Football, Dallas used to be that way, even after Landry when Jimmy was here we had knowlegable strong willed fans. Now it seems like the strong Fan Base is watered down, drained and has an inability to be disturbed.
Well I for one am VERY DISTURBED and I'm not the only Fan who's tired of all the LOSING!!!
there are things you can affect in life, and there are things you cannot.
the cowboys season you have no affect on, do you? so you don't become "numb" so to speak.
what do you do? does all the whining and moaning in here help any? other than venting and letting people know you're mad as hell and not going to take it anymore?
then come back again next week cause you could take it 1 more time and need to vent all over again?
tell me, you're ragging on those who don't rag on the team and say you'll never become numb to losing but in my mind that only builds up your own frustrations because you get emotionally attached to a situation you can't control.
trying to say we're losing now because the fan base allows it? that's a reach to your own agenda of epic proportions. romo seems to have a LOT of people yelling at him now and putting the world of pressure on his shoulders.
works well, huh?
so i'll say it again - there are things in life you can change, and there are things in life you cannot change.
ranting and raving at the latter because it is what it is isn't going to help change it. why? because by defination of the situation, you can't change it.
to make fun of the fans who are here throughout and say statements like "i'm a fan, win or lose" makes you sick to your stomach, then all i can tell you is i am.
i was born a cowboys fan. did a brief stint as a vikings fan for a few months cause my grandfather got me a helmet and the horns were cool, but i can trace my overall "fandom" back to around 1976.
i've been through a lot of coaches, owners, players and memories and i will continue to do so. i used to be as emotional as you and hopefully won't ever go back to that route. but the way i express my "fandom" and support of this team has evolved over the years. i'm still a fan, i still support my cowboys, and i will never see realistic value (outside of the venting to vent part) in screaming at other people who don't see life the way you do.
you and i are very different types of fans, but we're still both fans.
