Dude, go to Frye's or Fry's ...whatever..they match any deal you find. Even TigerDirect. I got them to come off my computer simply because they don't want to lose sales.

And like nyc said, Lenovo isn't really for gaming. But you don't strike me as a wow guy. So, again, for the budget and the warranty that comes with it, Lenovo is a good choice imo.

I wish there was a fryes close to me - I used to fequent the one in North Dallas all the time

Where are you located at the moment?

I like Dallas' suggestion. I would see what fits you because you're the one who will be using it. But that's cheap, and you can get by with the touchscreen.

However, if you're going for the keyboard it seems a bit high for 150 + 400. That's 650.

I would look at the lenovo B3 series, all in one.

I'll provide a few links, so I'm not gearing you towards one...my suggestion is find the one with the right price and youtube is great for scoping which model you like.

Seriously, look at this one and just consider watching it on your computer. But also know you may have to find a way around the specific connections you want.

I own this and love it. Seriously fastest computer I've owned for the money.

The AMD processors really give you bang for your buck and you sacrifice nothing, really.

It doesn't have the HDMI in, but that may be able to be remedied.

And www.lenevo.com has free shipping.

Also, hooray for Win7.

Also now in 500 budget range.

BTW, there are usb hdmi adapter/converters..not sure if that would help, but i would think so. I also did not buy this for sound. And I use the remote keyboard and mouse, bluetooth.

I use mac for audio, but I don't think the sound card is bad. But what do you expect from integrated all-in-one speakers?

You can add better speakers.

Some reviewers don't get the beauty behind a good bargain.

Great for video!

While that sounds really cool, I think it would be better served with an actual PC as HD space would be important if you wanted to have an archive of videos to watch also.

How are you streaming to your TV?

Wireless? Wired connection?

Not that it matters when choosing what computer etc to get.

But, If you plan and streaming HD video etc you need the most bandwidth/throughput you can get.

Just something else to think about.

I believe he is planning on using the HDMI port on the device to send the media to the TV.

Yeah these are my thoughts. For what it seems like he wants, an actual PC would do the job best. If portability is important to you though, you could take a look at some of the other things.

Wasn't sure since he was using the term streaming. Most use that term when wanting to send media to another device from a computer. i.e. ps3/xbox etc.

I would go cheap then.

Google TV really cut their prices. Seems to fit the bill for him.

If connecting to the tv through HDMI I would get something with a small footprint so you don't have a huge honking box taking up space.

Heck, I would even look at something like the Roku. Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Or get an old cheap computer that someone has laying around and put XMBC on it.
