I think you just answered your own question.

I dont' think you need to know the historical results of risk-taking behavior in order to determine whether a risk exists.Taps-n-1;1300041 said:I think you just answered your own question.

He almost scored even after bobbling the snap ..... if he would have ran instantly we would be playing the Saints next week.
Because he'd been the holder all season...CrazyCowboy;1299435 said:ZONERS:
WHY?
Does our starting QB, after playing the entire game; being hit; running in the pocket; then in the 4th qtr; drives us for the winning score opportunity; THEN has to hold for the FG?
NOTE TO COACHES: ROMO just might be a little TIRED! :bang2:
Philly brought Koy Detmer off the street last week to hold for FG's!
Is our coaching staff a little--well......STUPID?
I better not see ROMO holding next year!
No, that's just silly. How many other teams have their starting QB holding kicks? Now, why don't those teams think it's such a good idea just because of the possibility of a fake kick? Zero teams do it and we won't be doing it next year.summerisfunner;1300369 said:there's a risk practicing
should Romo not practice then too?
if Bledsoe goes, we'll probably be seeing Baker holding kicks

There are always risks, but the question is whether the rewards outweighs the risk.
Great. There's one. I guess if Jake Plummer does (did) it, it must be a good idea.alancdc;1300644 said:Plumber was Denvers holder I am pretty sure. I know he is not the starter now, but he was and still is the holder right or wrong. Not disagreeing just the facts.
