He's mad because he thinks the media has been lying all along and that the media's lies is what forced T.O. out. But in this case he had proof that not only was what JJT stated not true, JJT knew it wasn't true and it involved him directly. Irvin has been griping for a couple weeks about the media stories.

He accepts T.O. has issues but has a real problem with the media using those issues to sell stories by assuming an anything goes reporting style with the guy.

JJT is one of the reasons why the media here in the DFW area is full of *****.

If they have that good of a relationship then it won't matter....Irvin can just call him up and let him know he didn't say it.

It's no big deal IMO....I can't believe I posted twice about this subject.

Most people don't like JJT because he ususally says it like it is. I like that. I don't want to hear Spagnola kissing the brass and giving the company line!

he is no different from others, he tells it as he sees it, not necessarily how it really is.

I saw that segment and it was pathetic.

The whole piece was JJT's conjecture. They asked him what happened with Owen's release and he went off and said about ten things. Every single sentence started with "I think..."

In other words, he had not one piece of fact that he could say "this is what happened."

I understand he's a columnist and is paid to share his opinions. But that was just a bad lead and set up because they referred to him and set him up to be someone with knowledge of the actual discussions, etc. that went on. SOMETHING tangible and he provided nothing.

And, yes, I was really was embarrassed for him the way he decided to deliver what he was saying as if he was "on the corner." When people notice how incorrectly you are speaking it's a problem. Particularly on a nationwide broadcast and you are supposed to be a writer for a major news publication.

That whole segment should never have aired IMO as he contributed or provided nothing of value or substance, with his material or his delivery.

"on the corner" :lmao2: . That cracks me up!! Yeah, he definately should stick to writing as opposed to broadcasting. Gotta hand it to man, that catchphrase is one of the funniest I've heard in a long time. It reminded me of poor Emmitt Smith and his butchering of the english language, which undoubtedly is why he isn't doing broadcating at the moment...Except JJT was really ghetto sounding for some reason...almost like he was trying to sound that way for some odd reason. Who knows.
