The refs LOVE.

The NFL and especially the refs LOVE you!!!! Not in this game of course, but sometimes teams do lose because of the refs!?

You watch the NFL and you don’t realize the refs are TERRIBLE! They change the out come of games EVERY year!!!

Yes we got our butt kicked, but the refs were an absolute joke, and did make the game even more one sided.
Not for the truly good teams. They overcome it.

Had it been a close game I would care more about that I guess but they got humiliated in every way possible, the refs didn’t change much in the grand scheme of things.
Are you kidd
Anyone see anything else besides this? No flag on either play.

Was probably the most lopsided officiated game in the history of the league. I don't care what the final tally was....SF could get away with murder last night....and they played like it. The fact their offensive line had zero holding penalties....should tell you everything.

The penalties on Wilson/Kearse followed up by the no-call on Warner were garbage
The Wilson hit would be a penalty every day of the week. The Call on Kearse for unsportsmanlike conduct was BS. I thought he was standing over McCaffery because he thought he might be hurt from the hit he took from Wilson, and I think he was bit woozy after that hit too.

Well yea the hit is technically a penalty, but so was the Warner play.

Every time the Cowboys lose fans start questioning the officiating. As bad as the Cowboys were last night, every call could have gone their way and it still wouldn’t have been a close game.

I am not blaming the refs but on the 15 yard face mask penalty at the start of the game, did anyone see the 49ers WR blocking Bland basically maul him? It was the most blatant holing I have seen in a while and the refs missed it.

But let's be honest. The 49ers came to play last night and show they were the best team. The Cowboys looked intimidated and on their heels all night.
Bland is the Cowboy at the top of the screen blocked by the FB in motion at the snap. Where is the mauling here? This is a good block. The refs do make dumb calls and miss calls but when people have to embellish to make a point it calls all the griping into question as emotional pile-on.

It's got nothing to do with winning or losing. It's about obvious calls that aren't being made.

It happens when the Cowboys wins also.
Agree with your post. Just ask peeps to read your initial comment. It was never insinuated that penalties, or lack thereof, had anything to do with the outcome.

Couple of calls were rather curious. The suplex style toss which is a blatant no-no was initiated while the defender had two feet firmly planted out of bounds. It was one of quite a few misses by this crew.

While we're lamenting things that wouldn't have changed the outcome, I'm pretty sure Pollard's fumble did graze one of the 49ers who was out of bounds before it was recovered.
It was the last 9er to slide out. His foot hit the ball.
You can see the ball slightly change its course of direction.
It was the view from the defensive side of the ball, field view looking back that you notice the ball movement.
DVR slow-mo

The view from the offensive side of the ball is better. The ball hits 2 inbounds and rolls forward. 48 rolls ahead of the ball and never touches it. The announcers saw that it never hit anyone also.

It is #48 I was refering to, the 4th player to land out of bounds.
His body is partially out and you can see the ball hit his lower right leg / foot area. Then slightlty defects downward and along the sideline as he slides on out.

thanks for posting this.

The ball never touches him. He's ahead of where the ball is rolling.

My problem is in order the ball to go to SF, the defender must gain clear control of the ball, be established in bounds before going out. There is no way that is a definite call that he recovers, makes complete control before going out of bounds.

You can see that the blocker gets his arms around Bland's shoulder pads from the angle they showed on TV last night. He pulls Bland away from the tackle.
