Questions surrounding Fangio's return to the Eagles

First of all I don't care what the Eagles are doing but he's done this before the guy's been real close to retirement that's why he only came in as a consultant when they went to the Super Bowl and Gannon was the DC but people are not giving Gannon the credit because Fangio was a large part of the operations even though he wasn't the DC he was giving gannon all the information and advice he needed and then he worked way back in when Gannon got a head coaching job with the Cardinals..

He wasn't sure then he does this a lot and if I was the Eagles at this point where all the coaching talent is being snapped up and almost gone they should have told him you had two weeks after the season decide just let us know but after that you're here or you're not They should probably move to get rid of him versus let him keep doing this every year this is almost as bad as Brett Favre almost retiring 6 years in a row...LOL.

I mean I'm all for that him blowing up that room at the last minute changing his mind and then have to race to get another DC.. I'm good with that I don't like the Eagles but again if that GM was worth anything is everyone gives them so much credit he should have already moved on from a guy who's been one foot in one foot out for a while...

Is Roseman actually a great GM or just a good GM with a very good owner?

Jaelen Phillips has agreed verbally to stay in Philly next year. Word is that Fangio staying has something to do with his decision. We’ll see. Fangio leaving would be a big hit to the Eagles.

Fangio leaving would be franchise altering. Havent heard anything about J. Phillips. Not sure how Howie can afford him. Although they said he has MORE cap money to play with next year.

Eagles also are NOT extending Jalen Carter and letting him play out the 5th year of his rookoe deal. Which is UNUSUAL for guys they want to keep. They extend them before the option.

Also Jordan Davis' contract is up? He needs to be paid as well. Not sure where all this money is or isn't we'll see.

Just saying what I heard from Miami. His a good coach and players just didn't relate to him well. They said he just doesn't want to be there and was thinking of retiring.

He was trying to get out of the Miami contract. It was well known he wanted the Philly job. But Gannon was playing around and back doored the Eagles on his way to Arizona.

It worked out for everybody i guess.

I think this year is evaluation year and next year is the Eagle's reset year. I believe Dean and Blankenship are gone this year. They can draft a safety and Campbell looks like a player at LB. AJ Brown is 100% gone after this year. Hurts must stay until 2027 season or they take a massive cap hit. Lane Johnson says he can play until he's 40, but IDK. He's still damn good (gave up no sacks again and barely any pressures), but maybe it's time for him to call it quits. If the Eagles miss the playoffs, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Sirianni is gone. With a healthy o-line that team should make the playoffs again.
