I'm sure he's thrown lately but it's not like he's had all off season. He had to heal from broken collarbone then heal from surgery. Medical rehab is a far cry from major lifting. That said working legs the most important thing for a guy with back issues and for qb's. Hopefully he can have a full camp and start the season sharp. I'm not too concerned by his belly as some seem to be
Yeah good luck with that
We are stuck with this dude. He's prohibiting us from getting another QB.
He comes in, looks promising, then gets flicked in the back of the ear, and breaks his back, shoulder, ribs and God knows what else.
tony is one of my favorite all time cowboys I am not worried about him this season if he stays healthy its the rest of the team that worries me. He will carry his weight and more if he plays really well we will have a much better season no rookie is coming in and taking this team far with him a least there is hope if the rest carry there share of the load.
hit the gym now Romo and extend your career.
Guys, just like Aikman, top franchise QB's don't want or appreciate having competitors for their positions on
their teams. Aikman didn't want Walsh as a challenger to his position, he wanted the coaching staff
and the FO to support him. Romo likely wants the same thing. He wants a good backup to support
him as he continues his career but, not a direct challenger to his position on the team. I suspect the Cowboys
are looking at Prescott as a valuable backup who with time can stand in and win some games if Romo gets hurt.
Jerry is not going to risk making Romo uncomfortable when he might be close to winning another SB.
Even when he was healthy last year, his play was sub par,
I may b wrong, but I really doubt Romo has ever done any "major lifting" in his life. That said, I'm not worried about the guy being in shape for the season, he takes rehab seriously.
Are we close to winning a SB?
It seems to me Romo is feeling the pressure of a newcomer already. I remember in 86' when Herschell Walker joined the team, all of the sudden Tony Dorsett started running hard between the tackles. He ran so hard he hurt his knee at mid point of the season. Maybe Tony Romo can't accept the reality of father time. And if he pushes extra hard to come back he's bound to get hurt at some point.
Hopefully Romo is true to his word that this is the offseason he works out more than he ever has. No more fatty Romo!

Hey hey hey, fella! Romo is not fat..he is just, well, big-boned. and his bones just happen to get a little bigger during extended periods of inactivity. I had an aunt that was the same way.
It blows me away that there is even one Cowboys fan out there who actually believes this. I have to double check your posts on the subject because I can never believe you're not just trolling on the topic. Because it's hard to believe anybody could legitimately be so off base.
His brain is fat, which is why he can run the offense better than the younger more athletic guys.
He's been pretty much the same for the past 10 years. He looked thinner his first couple years in the league, but post 2006? He's basically been the same every year. He ain't gonna be shirtless in any calendars, but he's just fine to play QB at a real high level.
