As big as I have become on Austin, we still have to factor that he doesnt see the type of coverage that Owens does.

I highly doubt that's true. He's obviously our number one receiving threat. I would have to think opposing defensive coordinators know this as well. I know he's received double coverage in many games and when he hasn't, that simply means the D coordinator is stuipd.

it's a shame it took the RW injury for Miles to emerge. Theo said Miles was the best WR at camp by far but he was not seeing much playing time. We also weren't making too much effort to get the ball to him when he was in the game.

I think Garrett and the offensive coaches are overly conservative in bringing young players along.

There is no good excuse for how little young explosive players seem to get used in this offense. There has been a debate going on about MartyB and the alleged first round offer for him. But how good is he? Could he be as good as Tony Gonzales if we made an effort to get him more involved in the offense?

Garrett needs to get over this because football is a young man's game and players routinely get injured and their backups have to become the starters for at least short periods of time.
