Yet we have Key who has done worse and some of the same things that AB has done and then some. We have people that have found all over Key and he is worse than AB was in many ways.
Key didn't do them in Dallas.

That's the difference.

In fact, I'm impressed with Keyshawn's maturity. He seems to get it here. I'm actually glad we have a guy like him. We need that voice. I'm not much on "faces of the team" or whatever, but we do need someone to be vocal ... Keyshawn gives us that and has been pretty classy about it.

Not to mention he likes winning ...

if the rumor was true, we should've been all over KC to swap AB for their RB (Johnson?) instead of swapping for Morgan.
Crayton will probably be the #3 by mid season if not sooner. Kid's a freakin athlete.
Morgan will have a hard time finding a job next season if he doesn't turn it around this season.

Its a good thing we got another thread in on this subject. I was worried for a second that we weren't going to meet our every-other-day Morgan vs. AB quota.

What's hilarious in all this hand wringing to me is that everyone is more concerned about being "had" in a trade more than anything else. As if it means anything. If Parcells had cut AB outright last mini camp (which he should have), and then picked up Morgan this offseason in free agency for a cheap veteran contract to come in and compete for the 3rd WR position the perspective on this would be completely different, despite the same result. Its as though people would rather have released Antonio outright than give the appearance that some how we "lost" in a trade.

Given how desperate we were at the RB position last year when Julius was out, I think we can pretty much be rest assured there was no one iota of truth to that rumor and it was completely media generated.

I'm thinking Morgan may still be having effects from his shoulder. I won't doubt that he's being told not to have a bunch of contact with it as they need him being ready to go in September.

He's not going to get cut, BP has said all off-season he's happy with his work and improvements and that should be enough at this point.

The other Wr's need the work. Let them work out the depth issues.

Morgan is not expected to carry the team and as #3 WR, he's not going to. If somebody gets injured like last year, then he'll step up and we'll see what he does.

If he doesn't light it up, BP will adjust the offense to take up the slack.

I mean, I've never seen so much hand-wringing over a sub. Do you huys seriously remember who backed up Drew Pearson and Tony Hill..? Irvin and Harper..? I do. They were a revolving door of backups, re-treads and never was.

So just stop being so worried over something that is strictly up to BP and Morgan.

later.
