It's like Let's Make a Deal. The Browns are sitting with a lemon. Door number one probably has a whole bag of lemons but there is a slim chance that there's a shiny new car back there.
Weis is credited with developing Brady into the QB he is today. Why would it be such a stretch to think he's done the same thing with Quinn?
That's why I'd rather he didn't play now. I'd rather Frye or the other guy play a few games, look terrible, and then they cave to fan pressure and put Quinn in. But the holdout should set him back pretty well.
On Quinn overall and the Weis influence, I tend to think he'll be more like a Tedford product: So well coached in college that there's not room for improvement at the pro level. Truth is, the coaching he'll get now most likely won't be as good as what he had before.
