We haven't had a great interior defensive line since Parcells.

Why do we always want to trade our players. Dude had a sack and some nice pressure tonight.

Clarke and Osa both looked good tonight, this was a great performance by this defense in the trenches. I can't tell you how impressed I was with Quinnen Williams collapsing the pocket and he stayed in the Raiders backfield the whole game.

The cowboys are right now 35 mil over next season according to Spotrac.

That’s before carrying over 20 million in space from this year.


That takes it down to 15.

Cut Steele saves 15.

Cut Diggs saves 7.

You now have 7 million in space without restructuring anyone.

You can save 50+ mil restructuring Dak alone….. if you want.

I'm not for those cuts. If we can trade them, I'm OK with that, but I don't want to weaken our depth by cutting what we have. If we successfully replace them, then sure, cut them. But until then, keep them unless we get a trade offer.

Restructuring is the way to open up space.

Regardless of how bad LV’s OL is, Jeanty had his worst game of the year

Good start. The defense we had against Arizona would have gave up 30 against the Raiders. The Raiders might have the worst offensive line in the league though. It’s weird watching good defensive tackle play from the Cowboys.

As I posted before, all recent SB winning defenses(Philly, KC, TB, LA) all had elite DTs and not elite DEs. Elite DTs have had bigger impact.

Yeah, I've done some posts on that as well. Fletcher Cox, Chris Smith, Aaron Donald, Jalen Carter ... you don't see many making a Super Bowl without an elite DT.

Again, I think we're taking a few of those who overreact and citing them. There are a few fans on here who love and praised everything this team does and a few who can't stand anything this team does. Referencing them just feeds the insanity.

Just hold him. He has been playing way too many snaps the last few years. Close to 80% some years. You keep Clark, and you have a very good amd diverse trio between the two. The beauty of Williams is he can play a power LDT or a penetrating RDT with equal effectiveness

I got a feeling they don’t but man i hope they do. We never got a full season of Gilmore, Bland and Diggs. Never got a full year of Micah and Overshown. Don’t rob us of this.

I think Clark would be amenable to redoing his deal because it would give him guarantees

We can have both just got to let Clark go and restructure some contracts. We have most the offense locked in for 3 years and we can extend Williams and save money. It can be done.

We can keep all three. We have an advantage in that our OL is ridiculously cheap. Especially when we cut Steele. Thata gonna help alot over the next few years
