There were far worse players they could have done it for.

You can’t predict the future, but at the time that was one of the better trades anyone could make.

I see this thread a lot around here with a lot posters trying to read the stars and tea leaves. ‘We can’t give up draft picks because…’. Which trails off because they think it goes without saying.

Basically if you wait, you’re dead.

They could've drafted Josiah Trotter with the 2nd round pick. The Packers this year might end up being a top 10 pick and the draft is stacked. 2 Foundational Pieces on rookie contracts is a better deal than Quinnen on a huge contract.

I wasn’t a fan of the hire but I at the very least thought he was experienced. Coaching like a intern.

I have to say I surprised they let the Jets get the better of two picks.

I would have thought it would be the other way around, but what do I know. The Jets demanded the better of the two and that’s what we ended up with.
