No, isn't when basically your entire roster is worthless and the majority of your 2002 roster it is not only not on the team right now, but completely out of the NFL all together.

How do you know what will satisfy anyone else? We havent won the division, won a playoff game and have generally gotten worse as the season progresses. Expecting a playoff win, or a division title, or a team that doesnt fade down the stretch from your 5 million dollar head coach must be expecting too much according to you.

What will you say if we do win the divison next year with parcells and only get one win in the playoffs. This board will look the same way.

You all know that the teams Parcells have taken to the super bowl has been in his 4th year. Well it might take 5 this time. It's a competative league we will not win the super bowl every year and you guys will not be happy ever unless that happens. We were spoiled in the 90's but teams like the seahawks and the eagles still havent won a super bowl. You can jump over to one of those teams if you like they got one game closer this year.

you normally have more solid signs of success than:
1. not being ready for philly
2. not being ready for NO
3. not being ready for detroit

where winning ANY OF THOSE games would have put us in a MUCH better position.

Well everyone wants to fire everybody and thats absurd. Everyone has a solution but its not as easy as everyone makes it. We went through a rebuilding process and showed progress this year and found a QB this year. I see progress and I am ready for opening day next year.

I agree we are what we are. Not super bowl champions this year. But a team on that showed promise this year. The first year we show potential and we dont win it all the world comes to an end.

i see "progress" in that we're a better team now than before sure. but i don't see enough in place to get us over the hump when the coach doesn't even know if he can go on.

i think that hurts us long term and obviously many disagree and think it's irrelevant.

yet how do we explain then the meltdowns towards the end of the year when *this* decision is approaching all over again? pro-bp people are quick to defend him but at a loss as i've seen so far to do more than say "oh, it's the players".

it's ok for the coach to be lost and not sure of the future, it seems, but not ok for the players to do the same thing.

I wouldn't hire any of the three if I thought Coach Parcells was "mediocre".
