People should leave LT alone, from what I saw he didn't go all that crazy. This is probably the classiest player we've seen in years... have you guys some of the punk-*** players around this league? Even guys I like such as Chad Johnson do worse that this pretty often.

The bigger story from this game is that it can no longer be ignored by ANYONE anymore... it's time to admit we truly have seen the next Joe montana...possibly even better?? I mean, really, Brady has no Rice or Taylor or the other stars, and yet he keeps coming up with amazing drives that will be shown on highlight films for years... amazing. He had at least two or three drives in this game that were classic star QB material. We're witnessing greatness. The guy is 12-1 in the playoffs??? With Jabar Gaffney and Reche?? Come on, this is like watching Roger Staubach or Joe Montana or Elway or Aikman or those rare kind of dominant players. And as much as I love our guys, what Brady is doing is unprecedented.

So what coach is better than BB out there right now? Please do not say BP, he is not even in the same league.

It's tough to judge because BB does benefit from Tom Brady (and if you ever saw a BB press conference, you'd wonder how this guy can do anything remotely successful), but how about Bill Cowher? Jimmy Johnson? Andy Reid? Sean Peyton? ;-)

I agree.

I'm not getting all over LT for what he said. Both teams did their fair share of talking and whatever... it was a playoff game with two teams that wanted to come out on top. Of course tempers will flare... the environemnt, what was at stake, and everything else that went into it.

Tom Brady is the man. Its as simple as that.

LOL. Good luck on that theory.

These are the Pats. They get home cooking reffing away from their home as well as at home, Brady is all world even though his rating was horrid today, and Bellichik is the "god" of all coaches, even though he did nothing special coaching today.

Is that jealously I smell? Whining about the refs is for losers. Ill bet you believe in the grand NFL conspiracy theory too, right? You have seen what Brady can do, he is a living legend and one of the most clutch players I have ever seen, sorry if you dont like a great player getting the credit he deserves, you dont have to watch the playoffs no one is forcing you. You have seen what Bellichick can do, he loses big name players and keeps his teams in the hunt in the AFC on a yearly basis. I just dont get it, New England are one of the best run franchises in pro sports, I have a ton of respect for what they are able to do.

How are the Pats classless? I don't get it

I guess it starts with the head coach and his torn sweatshirts, followed by the way he took the Jets job then quit the next day to work for the Patriots, the way he dissed Parcells in his book, the way he dissed Mangini etc

If he has a problem with everyone, don't you think it's possible he's the problem?

He can coach but he has a miserable personality from all I have seen.

i hope they have footage of them dancing. that way they can show it all week on ESPN. then give the patriots the TO treatment.

ya know, pick out the guys that did it. ask if they should be suspended. ask their teammates to defend their classless acts. have BB go off on the media for asking him about this and him pushing the cameraman.

Ladianian needs to stop his moan and whine fest. The lights out dance is acceptble when your 14-2, but as soon as someone sticks your face in it, somehow it becomes classless?

Im sure you were laughing your *** off whenever Jaque Reeves almost started a riot at the end of the Giants game by doing the jump shot move in front of their bench.

Was it OK when TO ran to the Star center field?

I dont see what that has to do with anything. I would equate it more to when Emmitt ran to the Star or when George Teague cleaned up the trash, he had allready been taunted just like Merriman taunts his opponets with that rediculous dance.

Dont dish it out if you cant take it.

No, but it's not like everytime Dallas scored they went and spiked the star.

Merriman makes this an every-play thing with his stupid lights out dance. It's about time that someone shoves it in his face.

Just like the Giants jump shot. How much did you guys love it when the Bears/Cowboys/etc did it to the Giants? They had it coming, they did that stupid jumpshot after every play.

It's a big difference.

I Hate the Patriots more and more. They have never really demonstrated class when they win on the road. It's the whole chip on the shoulder "nobody gave us no respect," attitude they live to play with. Marty lost again!

He probably didnt have to point a finger at BB but if he meant it he meant it.

The truth hurts sometimes.

My biggest beef witht he whole thing is IF someone else said it... like a Randy Moss or God forbid TO. Might be a little early to make assumptions but the media would go nuts over this... might just happen with LT, we'll see soon enough.

That would be because owens and Moss have reputations for being idiots most of their careers. LT doesn't have a bad rep.

First of all, I don't even like Merriman. But, how is Merriman's celebration different from Michael Irvin's first down karate chop thing everytime he got a big first down for one to be called classless, and the other to be a sign of emotion, and a player who desperately wants to win.

Second of all, when do the actions of a single individual on a team become the rational for mocking the entire team? This isn't the Bengals where 10+ players have been arrested, or the Cowboys (yes, it pains me to say it) where multiple players were in trouble with the law, or the Giants where multiple players were doing the incessant "jump shot" nonsense. How does the actions of a single player give the Pats the right to mock the whole Chargers team in front of their bench?

The Pats are classless, and it's about time someone like LT stood up to their charade.

I am not attacking the Charger fans in their defending their players and their "house" but shouldnt they look themselves in the mirror?

I am talking about the lack of class the Charger players also showed on the field.

Florence head butted a Patriot... Merriman doing his Lights Out dance off a pressure/hit... blah blah blah.

EDIT: And also the late hit (shove in the back) after a PAT.

LT is a great guy... he let his emotions get the best of him.... he is a victim of MartyBall and Brady... hope he gets SB one day... good kid

LOL, ... this is the new NFL I guess.

Waaa Waaa, .. their "dance" is making fun of our "dance". :lmao2: :lmao2:

I miss the old NFL when it was just about ... football, of all things. Imagine that !!

Dick Butkus would chew these guys up and spit them out. And wouldn't do any "dances" afterwards either.

Don't get me wrong, I love LT, and I agree that BB is a jerk. He was a nothing coach until Bledsoe went down and a guy that he had on the bench was forced into the game.

Brady is the man and he is the reason that BB is even discussed at all. How did BB do with the Browns ? :laugh2:

But even Brady sucked at times yesterday, it was the stupid mistakes of the Chargers that opened the door for Brady, and he responded well.

So what?...

The Pats celebrated and the Chargers couldn't get it done in their own house with the game being handed to them...

Merriman is an overrated arse who's good for some sacks but then becomes the best cheerleader the team has...

His "Lights Out" dance is so friggin pathetic and stupid, especially when he does it for pressuring a QB...

Wow, good for you...

You want class?...How about Ware getting a sack or making a tackle for a loss and he heads back to the line with no stupid and childish celebration for doing his job...

I agree with that. I hate it when any player..including a Cowboy. Does some stupid celebration for the most minor play. Get back to the huddle and play idiot.

I agree 100%. You are paid to play the game, play the game and shut up. I do not think I have ever seen Larry Fitzgerald celebrate after a score or first down. He simply hand the ball to the ref and goes to the huddle. That kid is class....
