your actually proving my point for me because all those cases were DURING the game not after when its completely classless to mock a team after an emotional game like the playoffs are. LT is a Man thats why he broke the NFL rushing TD record and is the best player in the NFL!!! Also was the best player on teh field yesterday. The Patriots are the ones who neeed to MAN UP and show some class!
they don't need to show class, they are to busy winning

First of all, I don't even like Merriman. But, how is Merriman's celebration different from Michael Irvin's first down karate chop thing everytime he got a big first down for one to be called classless, and the other to be a sign of emotion, and a player who desperately wants to win.

Second of all, when do the actions of a single individual on a team become the rational for mocking the entire team? This isn't the Bengals where 10+ players have been arrested, or the Cowboys (yes, it pains me to say it) where multiple players were in trouble with the law, or the Giants where multiple players were doing the incessant "jump shot" nonsense. How does the actions of a single player give the Pats the right to mock the whole Chargers team in front of their bench?

The Pats are classless, and it's about time someone like LT stood up to their charade.

Could you whine about the Patriots any more?

Why is everything that disagrees with your opinion a "whine"? If you don't have an answer to what I write, move on.

This coming from a person who's alias is "JustSayNotoTO". Please spare me your hypocritical tripe.

It is whining. Earliar in the thread you complained about the credit Brady and Bellichick get when they are the best in the business. You are also sticking up for the cry baby who's remarks were the most classless thing that occurred yesterday.

"It is a whine because I say it's a whine".

"It is classless because I say it's classless".

Don't you get it? You aint going to prove to me that it's a whine. And you aint going to prove to me that the Pats aren't classless.

LOL, ... this is the new NFL I guess.

Waaa Waaa, .. their "dance" is making fun of our "dance". :lmao2: :lmao2:

I miss the old NFL when it was just about ... football, of all things. Imagine that !!

Dick Butkus would chew these guys up and spit them out. And wouldn't do any "dances" afterwards either.

Don't get me wrong, I love LT, and I agree that BB is a jerk. He was a nothing coach until Bledsoe went down and a guy that he had on the bench was forced into the game.

Brady is the man and he is the reason that BB is even discussed at all. How did BB do with the Browns ? :laugh2:

But even Brady sucked at times yesterday, it was the stupid mistakes of the Chargers that opened the door for Brady, and he responded well.

Well that "nothing" of a coach led the Browns to their only playoff victory in their last 12 years. Oh and by the way, he defeated Parcells' Patriots in the playoffs, with the likes of Vinny Testeverde, Leroy Hoard, and Derrick Alexander. Not exactly prime time players. Then he goes on to win 3 Super Bowls in 4 years based off a great defense. The "Greatest Show on Turf" was shut down by Bellichicks scheme and only managed 17 points in their first Super Bowl. Yeah Bellichick is only discussed because of Brady.

Yeah, there is nothing like sore losers and poor winners.

Wish more were like that.

Can't say I have a problem with gracious winners. I like them as much as poor winners. I guess I have a thing for winners.

I have a serious problem with good losers. Affraid we may have a few to many of them on our Cowboys right now!

I believe a poor loser is closer to becoming a winner. At the very least he's demonstrating the needed desire to become a winner!

Great pics Adam.

That was my point from the get-go of this thread.

Both teams showed little respect for one another before the game, during the game, and after the game.

Football really isnt a nice sport no matter what the league does (protecting QBs, defenseless receivers, hitting long snappers, blah blah blah).

So when these things happen you better be bale to just suck it up and take it like a man.

Personally, I'd rather see guys conduct their business like they have been there and done it before as a professional would.

But this isnt a perfect world... its not even a nice world.

These guys were going at it both physically and mentally... on and off the field.

I dont think anyone, even LT deserves to cry about it after the game.

But they do suck. All his shirt was doing was stating a fact.

And Merrimans dance looks rediculous, all the Patriots were doing was pointing it out.

Yeah, it is ridiculous. But, it's how he celebrates as an individual.

Let me put it in terms that may be more familiar with you. How would you react if the Pats just beat the 'Boys, and they all started mocking Irvin's "karate chop" first down celebration in front of the 'Boys bench?
