Your magic 8 ball again?
Fact is, Romo did not outplay Bledsoe in preseason play.....that is why Bledsoe started.
While playing with the 2nd and 3rd teamers and playing 4 times as much as Bledsoe Romo still comprised numbers comparable to the 14 year vet. Romo was ready. We all saw it. some of us wanted it. We debated back and forth on this board as the Thinker took sack afte sack after sack for weeks.
2006 Pre-Season Passing Stats
Player Att Comp Yds Comp % Yds/Att TD TD % INT INT % Long Sack/Lost Rating
Tony Romo 92 64 833 69.6 9.1 3 3.3 3 3.3 48 2/11 95.1
Drew Bledsoe 44 33 425 75.0 9.7 3 6.8 1 2.3 52 1/8 118.1

I don't see where Bledsoe clearly did anything more admirable in the preseason. If anything, Romo showed his Moxie with the scrubs and worked himself into a position to get starting consideration. Unfortunately Bill chose the easy route.
