"How can I make such a fantastic thread like this?"
I'll outline it for you.
First you should have a thought. Generally, this thought will occur in another thread. But, since you think that it is so witty and clever, you think to yourself - "Dizzamn - I gots to make me my own thread. I gots to see my name in lizzights!"
And then, your new thread is borne. If it truly is an exciting, interesting, new thought worthy of seperate discussion, so that it should not have been contained in another thread that maybe dealt with a seperate issue, people will love it, thank you for it, and respond in kind. If it would have been better served remaining in it's original thread, because it's not, in fact witty, original, or thought-provoking, and it could have run it's course in the existing thread, you will generally get responses thanking you for your lame-*** thread, making *snore* posts, posting mocking pics or thoughts, and informing you that there are several threads that your "witty" thread could have already been contained in.
So tread carefully, thread starters, or soon your "witty" thread will devolve into this thread - because it wasn't witty in the first place.

If we make it to the Super Bowl I will disappear from this board for the duration of next offseason. We don't have to win it. All we have to do is get there with Parcells at the helm. Remember I said that. I am a man of my word and will have no qualms with coming through. I'm not worries though. We will have the same conversation 1 year from now and I look forward to it.
There will be no more worrying about me and my half hearted threads. If we get into the Super Bowl I am gone for months.
Bookmarked.

summerisfunner;1324440 said:you said undefeated season, but still, 2 Super Bowls >>> less than 2 Super Bowls
so I guess Chuck Noll, Jimmie Johnson, BIll Belichick, are nowhere near Shula then, despite having more Super Bowl trophies?
BigDFan5;1329295 said:Holy cow, thanks Bleu for proving to the whole board you really are 11 years old.

Sunshine and outdoors are good for you.
Bleu Star;1329298 said:You're welcome. Is that all you have to say? You had plenty to say yesterday.
BigDFan5;1329307 said:Everything I said yesterday still stands, I believe changing everything about a team is not the best way to improve on a playoff season
We Arent going to the superbowl next season
We probably wont make the playoffs
But if winning championships doesnt matter to you then I guess you wont mind not going
Bleu Star;1329314 said:I'll hold you to that. I'll go on record and say we make the playoffs next year. Winning championships means everything to me. That's why I am so elated that manboobs has moved on. There is a savior!
BigDFan5;1329327 said:How about Romo how will he fare in a new system?
Right after he is comfortable enough to start and play well, its time to changeVintage;1329338 said:And there is my biggest fear.
Romo needed an offseason of continuity to help him develop further IMO.
With an experienced QB, a coaching overhaul wouldn't matter as much. But Romo has 11 games of starting experience. Not what I wanted this season (in reference to a coaching change)
BigDFan5;1329327 said:Make the playoffs? yesterday you said that wasnt good enough
What if we lose round 1? Will you want a new coach again?
As bad as you wanted Parcells gone I figured you at least had expectations above what he already provided.
BigDFan5;1329327 said:Do you think a new coaching staff and scheme will win us a superbowl next year yes or no?

Bleu Star;1329349 said:1 year in? No
2 yerars in? I'm grumbling.
3 years in? I'm getting itchy.
4 years in? Get the #$%#$ outta here.
In one year? I can't sit here and say that. I don't believe either of us could have said such a thing about Bill's first year either. What's your point?

Parcells was not the architect of Romo. Stephen Lee was. Therefore, it wouldn't have mattered. Stephen was already gone. Romo will be fine.
BigDFan5;1329355 said:My point is you said losing in the playoffs is not good enough
you said Not winning superbowls isnt good enough
You then say changing our entire staff and schemes makes the team better
Yet you admit yourself a doubt that we go any farther next year than we did this year
My point being staying in the same system gave us a BETTER shot next year, since the best you, yourself reasonably expect is the same thing we did this year even with a new staff
Bleu Star;1329357 said:This all falls back on the thing that pissed me off to no end at the beginning of the season. Romo should have had 16 games starting under his belt. There's no reason, after that pre-season, that anything else should have taken place. bye bye Bill...
