You're making too much sense and I feel very strange about this given the belief that you aren't a Cowboys fan. Stop it! :p:

he's anti-Cowboys

How many years will be enough to satisfy the eternal optimists?
Good lord. next year is in all likelihood Parcells last year. If we succeed great. If not we move on. We just don't know how things will turn out at this time. There are reasons for optimism as a previous poster laid out. end of story.

that isn't bashing someone who isn't optimistic, we were asked why should we be optimistic for the coming season, and it was given, simple as that

so collapsing in December can't be anything else besides coaching? gotcha
check my quote on Clausewitz to see what I think of "sweeping" statements such as those.

I've taken some college math........so let me try something. If we take 7 and divide it by 9 thats .563. And last I checked .563>.500. and the same last year. He's changed the team in 4 years and is making progress but you want instant success. That doesn't happen often in this league.

Let me toss some elementary math at you.

34(# of wins in 4 years) divided into 66(# of games played in 4 years) = .515

.515 rounded to the nearest whole = .500

A bit more...

0 (# of playoff wins) divided into 4(# of years in place) = 0

You don't need college math to figure this one out.

He's also being surprisingly level headed too.
It also colors his POV as well. It's hardly surprising someone taking a half glass empty approach would find much that he agreed with.

1) Not an automatic fix. There will be growing pains the first half of the season...

Maybe

2) No guarantee that Romo bounces back. You would think that as he got more starts, he'd get better... But that didn't happen either
yes because players never get better their second year of starting

3) TO + TG = 68 years between them next year...

first off check your math skills, second they are still one of the top WR duos in the league

4) Marco Rivera will be replaced by who??? How about the rest of the only mediocre line?

Rivera will be replaced, unlike washington Dallas uses this thing called the draft, as for the rest of the OLine they will remain the same

5) Bobby Carpenter will be good, I give you that.

how nice

6) Roy Williams isn't going to get any better. He is a run stopper with no coverage abilities. What can possibly happen better, he hit harder? I don't see that happening either...

If you feel like this I would love to see how you feel about Sean Taylor who gave up more yards, catches AND TD's

10) So you think one play was the difference between you and the Super Bowl? Or even a playoff victory?

one play was definately the difference between a playoff win

Amen to everything you said.

It really pains me when I find the words of someone that doesn't appear to be a Cowboys fan more succinct than those by a fellow fan. :( I guess it truly does sometimes take an indifferent or 3rd party opinion to level the playing field.

:lmao: agreeing with a Commanders fan about how much the cowboys will suck priceless

I think labeling the Commanders fan as an "indifferent party" to be equally hilarious.

I'm glad you find humor in it. You won't find any humor in 2007 if nothing major changes.

Didn't you say you've taken some college math? What are they teaching there in Podunk Uni?

No. .500 is 50%. 50% this is simply 1 divided by 2 which is a fraction. Grade school math.

Ok Einstein. Answer this question.

Does 515 round to 500 or 1000. (better yet... 500 or 600?) ZZZ
