Well most of what I read in draft reviews seemed to believe all our second day picks to be based on athleticism instead of skills I would say hone his athelticism, put him to work rehabing and then plug him in on every ST position he might work at.

So Ron Mexico can have behavioral/criminal lapses and still get a free pass.

Vick wasn't overhyped. He is one of the most incredible athletes to ever play in the NFL. Atlanta for some reason thought he could be a great NFL QB. They still haven't given up on it and every year he promises he will change and doesn't. He is at his best when he is running with the ball. If Stanback was like that, the rest of the NFL would have been all over him.

I'm not homering for him (Stanback) at all, and you are being a blind loyalist if you think Vick hasnt been the most incredibly overhyped sports player ever...the guys QB play has been nothing but mediocre, yet all we hear are excuse after excuse for the guy year after year...and he's a borderline train wreck off the field on top of it

Vick is an outstanding athlete and has a great arm but no accuracy. He just throws it up and hopes the wr gets too it first.

He was definately a first round pick but I kind of agree on the #1 overall.

Vick has a million dollar arm and a 2 cent brain. He makes bad reads and doesnt have good accuracy.

Stanbacks arm looked impressive in the few clips i could actually find on him. But i'd say he is more like Michael Robinson as in he will get the ball in lots of different ways (kr,pr,wr,rb) AND maybe our emergency qb , so that Crayton can just worry about taking over once t.o and t.g are gone.

Fast, interesting prospect, prob would excell at positions other than qb. Def someone I will enjoy in madden lol

The lisfranc ankle injury makes this guy a definite risk. Great athletic skills, potential, and work ethic makes for a high ceiling. On the second day, everyone is a gamble. I am willing to bet on Ireland's judgement though.....
